This app has slowly gone downhill over the years I remember when it came out in like 2012 and it was amazing I couldn’t believe how well it worked and the data it provided and all for free! Ever since then the app has gotten glitchy and now we have to pay for that glitchy mess! 99% of the time I can’t get past a few screens without the app completely crashing and when it does load it is unbelievably slow. Doesn’t matter if i’m on my home wifi or at the pool it fails to work consistently. I am getting sick and tired of paying for an app that is basically unusable for me. Disappointed.
Be careful adding this app. We have attempted to cancel our subscription for two years!
This is monopoly that one company has a mobile app in USA swim. Their app design/ operations have been changed but still have a room to improve. Recently I asked the subscription period extension due to COVID-19. No swim meet in 2020 in all USA, and I don’t know what else I can do with this app. Small money but they said they don’t extend my subscription. This is why I share my feedback. Everybody and every companies share the pain and work together to get through this pandemic period. I hope this company changes better. Very disappointed today.
If you use this app, you have seen the “Please Wait” message more times than you ever want. As many others have stated, Meet Mobile is very, very slow and the search functionality is ridiculously bad. I’m in the technology profession, and have built mobile apps using some-low cost search options, so I know it could be better.
Eta: it’s so slow since i wrote this. So, so slow! Is this app perfect? no, but its pretty good. I have no problem with the annual 5.99 fee- I have very few glithces & results are pretty fast. Peope do reliaze that its up to the individual meet directors to feed this right? Real Time updates come in, but things change as soft touches, dq, etc come in & some meets are more efficient than others. Additionally, its up to the Individual Meets to provide heat sheet access, if its not available, then its the meet directors fault, not the app. it isn't perfect, but its better lately since a few glitches were worked out. But I do agree that the "favorite" swimmer is annoying, I expect it to take me to my kid IN that meet, but instead it takes me back to the all the meets for my kid, it did not use to work this way, so this is an update that is unwanted! 90% of meets that we attend are in here, maybe 40% offer heat sheets, so this would be better if it were higher, but the results are pretty real time and yes, you do see splits and relays- providing the meet directors supply this info. I don't think many people reviewing this understand how much is dependent on the actual meet, not the app. THe info is only as good as the people running the meet and timing equipment.
When this app works, it’s great! I love all the information it provides. However, no matter what I do, I can’t get it to work any where other than at home on my WiFi. Sure would be helpful to use at the actual swim meets! 🧐 Doesn’t matter if I’m on the local WiFi st the event or just on the cellular Internet, nothing works. Their customer service insists it is my network, but other people have Sprint and do just fine. I loathe paying for the app to only be able to access it at home. Their customer service is zero help. So frustrating.
Unfortunately, I have to have this app because 99% of the swim meets my children go to now use meet mobile and have “gone green” so there are very few paper psych and heat sheets. This app is soooo slow and a 5 min delay between screens and searching back and forth. I feel so angry that I actually pay money to use this app. If you can avoid meet mobile do so at all costs. Not worth a dime! If someone else could come up w/ an app to compete this app would cease to exist! Plus the results take forever to upload with again more delays. HATE this APP!

This is, by far, the worst performing app I have ever worked with. It takes forever to load the next page. And if I happen to get a text or notification meet mobile crashes then I have to start all over.
Not renewing my subscription because it’s very slow.
