Search Feature

This used to be a good app. Awhile ago they changed the search feature and it is impossible to find the meet I am looking for. Most of the time I have to look up by swimmer find the exact meet name and enter that in the search bar. Just now I tried to search for meets in my state using the location and date filter. It said there were no meets. Then I took off the date filter and it gave me meets from 2021 and earlier. I don’t understand. The search feature used to work just fine and for at least the last year, it is worthless.

You pay to keep up on events and by the time the app updates you can just watch the scoreboard at whatever venue you are at.

Kicking It Up A Notch

I do a lot of swim meet announcing and use Meet Mobile quite a bit. Just wondering if you can add some additional functionality. Can you allow for Meet Mobile to be used in ‘Landscape’ mode instead of just ‘Vertical’ view when using an iPad? Most everything I use the iPad for in meets is Landscape. If I have to rotate the screen, there are multiple cables involved and it’s just not practical. Also, I know you can use the ‘Swimmer’ lookup mode to see where a swimmer places in previous races within the same meet. It would be helpful for me (and no doubt others) if I could be referencing a swimmer in a race, see their Prelim splits, then keep scrolling down to see their previous placing. When calling a race it would be better to more easily see that information rather than backing up steps to go to the other section of Meet Mobile - relook up that swimmer to view that info for crowd enhancement purposes - then go through the other steps again to get back into Prelim split mode. The info is obviously in app. It would just be more convenient to access and view. Feel free to reach out if you want to talk about this or other functionality. Thanks.
