Very good app…

Found this app when Stitcher went away. Would have given it 5 stars but because Episode Search results appear in totally random date order, the results are basically unusable! Also this app is not nearly as powerful as Downcast, which allows you not only to group podcasts by topic, but also to add podcasts to multiple Playlists (by topic, length, etc).

What happened to this app?!

This has been my go-to for years. It’s so buggy now I’m going to have to stop using it. Pressing play on a title takes MINUTES to start playing on iPhone 13. Makes no sense.

Activist Liberal Outfit

They push their political agenda onto your phone and car dashboard screen for a month and then say, “if you don’t like it just go into nested menu settings and reverse it.”

Doesn’t have access to all podcasts

As a podcast player it’s great except it doesn’t have access to all available podcasts. Shame.

Dangerous for drivers drivers

This podcast is just fine for listening around the house. It may even be the best for this. But if you listen while driving it is downright DANGEROUS! You can’t easily navigate to the next podcast while one is playing. Let’s face it, sometimes you get bored jn the middle of a podcast and want to move on. I have to pull over just to get to the next podcast. The app does not respond well to voice control. Until there is an easier way to move to the next podcast while driving, I would find another solution. I’m sad to write this as I think it is a great podcast player otherwise.

Really Buggy Lately

Been using the app for years and it’s been pretty good, I even subscribed to the premium tier for a while but recently I’ve been having a bunch of bugs like skipping partially played episodes in my queue or just skipping to random parts in my podcast so that I’m never sure if I’ve missed something, or the podcast pauses and won’t resume after Siri announces a message on AirPods

Constantly jumps back and ends podcasts early

Will update once it stops. Normally love this app. Recently the app has been doing this and it’s annoying. Update: still occurring.

Beautiful, simple, useful, free

What a fabulous app, finally! I love that is is simple to use, easy to share episodes, and the graphics are beautiful! I see the covers of all the podcasts I follow for easy clicking, and I can rearrange those covers however I want, according to any criteria I think is useful. The free version is enough, but I have the + because I like to payback companies that do a great job for me, and being a member has its benefits.

This app doesn’t update podcasts in a timely fashion. And if you subscribe to a podcast, expect bumerouz headaches to get your podcast updated. Apple podcasts is a superior products, and that says a lot because Apple podcasts is garbage.
