What a shame it has been ruined.
Like so many others, I have used the app for years. It’s no longer usable. Played with it for quite some time trying to pick out a wine while standing in a store. Eventually, I just gave up, put my phone in my pocket, and grabbed a bottle at random. Having used and loved the app for years, I’ll keep it a little while longer in the hope this train wreck release is reversed. If not, it’s just taking up space, and it will be a shame to see it go.
New updates are awful
I’ve used Vivino for years. The recent changes are just awful! Much more cumbersome and less user friendly. Please fix some of this!
Unusable
It needed me to make an account, which, sure okay thats fine. But it asked me to select my country and wouldn’t load literally anything I typed in order to select. I tried everything to get it to load and still nothing. Please fix your app
Ruined this App
This App used to be great. Then, someone decided to change it…not for the better.
App is becoming unusable
Used to be a great app with an ok balance of advertisements. But pushing ads has become so aggressive in the app you literally can’t do anything without a blocking ad coming up and preventing you from using the app and then sending you off someplace because there is no way to X out of the ad. A fun app has become completely infuriating.
Great for….
Pricing, ordering and keeping notes. Reviews are little value and that’s being polite!

Was a great app. Now too many errors and ads way slow now. Will delete my account
Was so great , did they ruin this app?
This was a great app, but has a new interface (summer 2023) and is not working well. Every scan is now interrupted by an ad for a subscription, then the description of the bottle stays grey, no results appearing. Very difficult to get past the photo screen to the wine. Is it working for you?
Who broke Vivino?
I can no longer access the comparison mode (take multiple photos in succession), which was by far the most useful feature of Vivino. Was loving the app, and have used it for a few years, but without that feature I don’t think I will use it very much. Please restore it.
Must have for every wine lover
If you even remotely like wine, you must have this app. Pro tip, find and follow sommeliers for expert picks.
