It just fantastic! A lot of professional work has gone into this to make you succeed. Incredible and syncs with everything - it is the best!
I don’t rate apps, but this one deserves it. It amazes me every day. The way it syncs with my garman is incredible. 100/10
The app before the update was much better. You have taken a step backwards in terms of usability. The commenting feature is the worst. When i tap outside the window and tap back in, the entire text block highlights. Its easy to erase everything written. Tapping back to the point where i can continue to write is very difficult as well. Also, its not always possible to slide the view up when typing a comment so cant even see where i last left off. Its very glitchy. Something as basic as this is extremely frustrating. And there is no editing of text once the send button is hit. You have to use the web version to do that. Its all quite pathetic. The rest of the app is fine but i still think the previous version was better.
This app burns up my phone it’s terribly inefficient. It makes my phone hot as soon as the app opens up. The app must be just burning through memory and battery power. Decent app overall but just an unpleasant experience to use and kills my battery.
I love Training Peaks, but as much as I love it on my phone, or even on my computer, it’s not great on the iPad. Doesn’t use built in Apple Keychain so you can get your username/password. Caches old information with no way to fix it. My coach 2 hours ago updated my plan for this week. It’s fine everywhere, but the ipad shows the old version. Even force-quit it and logged out/logged back in, and it’s still the old version. In calendar mode you can’t see how many people commented on a workout, so no idea if my coach commented or not unless I go into it. So, iPhone app is a 5, ipad app is like a 1.5/2, so gave it a 3 overall.
It could be a bit more professional in the sense that there are features that cannot be modified in it! This limit makes it not as professional as it should be! I’ve been a faithful user for 20 years, I’ve seen it grow, but it’s being a very slow growing process!
Solid app for what I use it for: interacting with my cycling coach. The stats and graph options are pretty much the best you can get. Other services come close, but aren’t quite there.
I actually have paid for this app and it doesn’t get better. Subscriber for 6 years now, and not sure why I stick with it. Understand that the CTL and fatigue formulas are proprietary, but it doesn’t seem possible to determine what the magic formulas values were unless you use the web app. It should be possible to go into your calendar and have the app tell you the numbers on that particular day. Seems to not be possible. Thanks.
So many high quality plans available for all training levels. Easily shift days to conform to your schedule. Also syncs with so many other platforms it makes it effortless to track progress so you can focus on your effort in each workout. Highly recommend.
Long time user bc it’s kind of hit a monopoly on the market. Perhaps that’s why they slow to improve the product. I like the graph features (zooming in and getting data on such). And it’s nice to have a dashboard of key metrics. My biggest pet leave is the user comments box for workouts. Omg I use this daily and want to scream at the app daily. Make the input box bigger so we can actually see what we are typing. And with the recent update, it’s now a nightmare to add comments using my iPhone bc the whole text keeps getting highlighted by default and I often accidentally delete what I just spent previous time writing up. Or, I spend for far too long trying to get curser to where I want and not highlighting all the text. Ugh. Please get UI/UX peeps (or new ones) to help with your tool.
