You would think a very sophisticated firm like Schwab would have the ability to have stocks reports like Morningstar and CFRA available on the app just like the desktop version? Wrong. That’s something that seems feather basic, but maybe I just took that for granted from TD Ameritrade.
Very disappointed in the interface of this app. This app is inferior to the Ameritrade platform I am used to. Trades are more difficult to execute; news is less accessible; markets and holdings aren’t tracking in real time. Robinhood does a better job than CS. Seriously considering switching brokers after this forced switch.
Terrible app. No electronic transfer option. Terrible to follow daily market. No trade volume or daily graphing to follow. Hard to find watch list. Please take some pointers from the TD Ameritrade app. I’ll be leaving soon if it’s no better than this!
TD Ameritrade had a superior platform.
I agree with most of the other former Ameritrade clients. This app is useless, no streaming quotes, UI is like something out of the 1990’s, too many screens to get information Ameritrade had on 1 screen. Hopefully it works well enough for me to move my accounts to another brokerage.
The TD Ameritrade app was infinitely more intuitive. I really miss the page with the analysts opinions and price targets. I also find that your news is biased and following some agenda. I am looking for an alternative brokerage and will transfer as soon as possible.
Please make the chart more readable on cellphone and allow customization of parameters.
My account was transferred from Ameritrade to Schwab a couple weeks ago. The main reason I went with Ameritrade was there app. The schwab app is missing basic things. 1. Select your home screen. I want to go directly to my watch list, not the markets page, then have to click watchlist every time. 2. There are no timeout settings for logging me out like Ameritrade or other apps have. Every time I check the app I have to log in. The app should have options to keep you logged in for 1, 2, 4, 8, 24 hours etc.. This would make it at least somewhat more tolerable by skipping yet another step before having to repeat all steps in item 1 listed above.
Always malfunctioning, doesn’t stream, no alerts, no pre or post market charts… Basically worthless!
After moving from TD Ameritrade to Charles Schwab it seems as if this move was unnecessary. Only certain accounts were moved from TD Ameritrade. I personally do not like the way the mobile app is set up.
