App should enhance customer choice

AirBnB should enhance customer choice and introduce some fair competition by requiring hosts to accurately disclose their location and property dimensions (preferably with schematics). This would enable renters to make informed decisions by preventing hosts from providing misleading information or pictures that offer a distorted depiction of their property’s dimensions.

I’m deleting my account and leaving Airbnb

No customer service. If you met a bad landlord, then it would ruin your entire trip. Good bye Airbnb. I’m back to hotel. At least it’s clean and I have some one to solve the problem.

Pathetic support team!

I spent $700 with this company and had my card information stolen so I canceled my card and asked them SPECIFICALLY to return the money to credits instead of the card because that card would be cancelled but they still sent the money to the cancelled card and now my trip was cancelled 3 DAYS BEFORE I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE IN ORLANDO ! 0/10 I would not recommend this company at all look elsewhere!!!

I would not recommend Airbnb, they are not friendly to the user, only the host. You need a lawyer with you to complete some of the transitions. Very disappointing. If you have a bad experience they have your money and nothing you can do about it. That is a lot of control on someone who has your vacation/life and trip in your hands. The company makes both parties explain the situation and they keep the profits. They will never give you a refund, then they put all the responsibility on the host. They play both ends. Not cool. No accountability to the customer.

Buggy

The Airbnb app has been incredibly buggy of late. I frequently get error messages and it produces strange haptic feedback. Today, I tried to decline a reservation, and I could not accomplish it on the app. Last week, I have numerous freezes and issues with a travel search. I reinstalled and then could not log in for 8 hours.

Great concept, poor poor customer service

I’ve used AirBnB for over 10 years and overall have enjoyed it. It’s a great idea and fills a need for hosts and guests. I’ve never had issues until my previous stay. I tried contacting customer service many time with the issue and no responses for several days at a time. When there were responses, they did not solve my issue and service agents don’t listen to customers experiences. All they care about is checking people in and out of properties and taking money. No concerns on safety and minimal requirements to property maintenance. Not sure if I will continue using AirBnB but for sure it will be low on my list of options.

The photography program is a joke. I’ve been owed $500 for over a month for shoots I’ve completed and no one from then photography team contacts me. There is NO contact info for the team except email. Airbnb support had told me probably 30 times over the last month “your issue is upgraded to “urgent” someone will call you” Guess what?? I haven’t been contacted by then photography team ONCE in the last month. This is the most unprofessional, drive me insane, worst company I have EVER photographed for.

I wish you could filter down more. It would save a lot of time to be able to pick a secluded vs mom secluded home. Does it have a private swimming hole? Does it have its own lake/water access. Does it have its own hiking trail access? Filter by acreage.

The host can pull your reservation for no good reason. My host decided they wanted to stay in the house and tried to ruin my vacation by canceling my reservation. They need to get better control of the people they are allowing to rent houses out to people.
