This app is really awesome and easy to use. I would appreciate having Word of the Day notifications - that you can opt out of - appear on your phone in the morning or have the user schedule a time. Thank you!
me so smart now
I rarely look up definitions of words but Webster’s is an old reliable source so I downloaded the app. The second word I looked up, a full page ad came up and completely froze up my iPad. I’d say it’s completely unreliable and won’t recommend or even give a decent review. Oxford works better on macs.
I wish that there were more “more words because in one of my assignments each week. We have to write other examples of words so that would be helpful. Thank you to anyone who actually took the time to read this
I love this app!! I use 2 own the hard copy book back when they had books I bought in 1998. My favorite thing about it though is the synonyms also learning new words or looking them up when I hear a word I have no clue what it means. My prehistoric book was held 2gether by duct tape I used it so much!
Merriam knows that its audiences are students trying to learn new vocabulary. Yet, it lets distracting ads take over the actual experience of learning new vocabulary.
Paid the $5.99 and the app is still serving ads. Not happy
It even has a definition for the letter
