Delete chat

This function doesn’t work. Every time I delete a chat and then close the app. When I open the app the deleted chat pops back up

Text Verification Doesn’t Work

Despite having a working phone number, the app will not recognize the verification text I send no matter how many times I try or redownload the app. Literally unusable.

Blocking / Contacts

Please go back to letting us DM someone who is not in our contacts… that’s my only complaint!

Delete Chat Feature Still Doesn’t Work

Deleted chats still repopulate after closing and opening the app. Still can’t delete group chats and need to either leave the group or archive to clear it out of your main page. Will notify you of a message in a banner but takes forever to open up the message if not using perfect 5G or WiFi. Really wished my organization would just switch to WhatsApp instead.

New feature to delete chats, not working!

I’ve had GroupMe for years. This new feature to delete chats does not work! Every time I delete a DM I go out the app and right back in and it simply re-appears. Super frustrating!!!

GREAT APP!

I have used this app for about a year for Boy Scouts and I think it’s great! But I have Encountered This one problem multiple times and that is it won’t send my messages sometimes. but overall good app.

It doesn't always update properly so I end up having to turn my phone off and on. It's a good app but that part is frustrating

Notification bugs

This app has come a long way from what it was. I will definitely give credit for that. However, the recurring problem I find is that if you get a message from a group chat or DM that you have hidden, the banner will pop up but when in the app you have to manually find what chat it’s from. Also, if you get a notification, the little “1” badge on the app icon doesn’t go away even after you’ve seen the message in the app. I’ve opened and closed it many times and it still doesn’t go away. I feel like these bugs should be fixed for a smoother U.I. and overall better experience.

Docs don’t open

No pdf ppt word docs open on the app :((( I have to log onto my computer to preview them it’s soooooo annoying!!! Please fix this!
