Horrible app. For guidance… try NY Times
Trying to find an article, even with the title in the paper is impossible, the site’s articles aren’t even up to date for Sunday’s paper!
I also don’t like the random layout - bring back the actual paper!
When you opened the old app it was a replica of the print paper. Now is random stories. Don’t like the new version at all. Terrible!!!!!!
This app is a piece of crap
It is frustrating to receive an alert, only to be told I cannot read the article without paying for a subscription.
Format is not user friendly. Worse, when I went to cancel digital subscription, first person to answer couldn’t and wouldn’t implement simple cancellation , put me on 10 Minute hold and then aggressive and rude rep did everything to dissuade me from Cancelling. Then Wouldn’t send confirming email that cancellation in fact done. It’s a trap, once you sign up, very difficult to cancel. Stay away. Not worth it. Totally soured me. Would never consider any further product from the Orange County Register. I Can see seniors getting stuck for life. You need an advocate to cancel. For real.
Your app is nothing special. If you think charging users is going to work out for you, you’ve got another thing coming. That thing is called bankruptcy. There are plenty of outlets supplying free access. For you to think you are going to now start charging customers is laughable. You should be spending your time attracting advertisers as your profit stream. You’d think after watching your physical newspaper grow obsolete you’d be smart enough to see that charging for your insignificant news app was a stupid idea. But, apparently some idiot running the show wants to ride that dumb idea down the toilet following the printed newspaper. I’ll be deleting the app now while laughing at your ignorance. Have a good bankruptcy. Hahahaha
This is nonsense. Now we have to pay?!! I don’t think so. Will be deleting the app
Without subscription app was ok, now that the OC Register requires a subscription app is horrible. Not worth the money for the subscription.
