When launched under CarPlay, the Audible app no longer shows an interface. So you can navigate to your titles without busting out your phone.
I can do two things at the same time! I listen a work, gardening, cleaning the house, painting, sewing walking the dog, traveling, woking out... My husband loves it because I’m not gabbing through his sports shows or during games. My neighbors all envy me because I have a clean, house, beautiful gardens and am in incredible shape because I’m listening to a book all the time.
Great as always!
I felt like I was hearing some my Grandpas dreams.
The beginning of this story I found to be a bit slow and sad, but the imagery so vivid I couldn’t put it down. Her sad and solitary life is tangible, and I loved the finale.
I love it has a lot of books and new one ! I need more time to hear them all
The first thing the app does when you open it is try to connect to the internet for whatever reason maybe to load recommended books or something, but if you have a bad connection it will sit there and hang for a minute. It’s quicker to just turn off your signal/wifi so you can get to your library and press play on the book you’ve been listening to. There should be a setting that lets you launch the app directly to your library without it trying to connect to the internet right away. I just want to be able to press play on the book I’ve been listening to for the past week. It shouldn’t take anymore than a few seconds to get to that play button.
Audible books has been a wonderful addition of my daily activities. I love listening to a book while I’m busy creating art projects.
I love how there is no condemnation for having trouble breaking bad habits and creating new ones; just simple guidelines on how and why to create meaningful habits. I love how he even shows us how to get started when we feel stuck. This is one of the best books I’ve read so far.
