Really, I’m reading an article and just want to bookmark it. Absolutely not intuitively possible. Ok, let me just return to the home page and start over. Absolutely not possible.
Does it feel intimidating to write a review for the best writers? Yes, it does.
It’s the New Yorker implemented well on the iPad, with internal and external links.
Simply the best writing published weekly.
Terrible app!!! As others have pointed out, if you happen to scroll just the slightest bid sideways you end on the next or previous article, and your place is LOST in the article you were reading. Also, no scalable fonts, no dark/night reading support. App constantly makes me restore purchases to allow me to download new issues, etc. Just overall a really awful app! If I didn’t like the New Yorker content so much I’d unsubscribe in a minute Please mix this!!!
I enjoy the New Yorker very much. I got introduced to the magazine through an aunt when I was in my teens. I began by just reading the cartoons. I have been a subscriber now for several years. Some of the articles I find a bit strange, and a few a waste of time, but the majority I find to be e terrain ing and informative. Keep up the good work.
Enjoying NYer is a treat even more than ever thank you for stepping up your game recently! God Bless & let’s extinguish this horrible virus. Amen Jon MS
The app is a way to download issues, not (as far as I can tell) find electronic articles. There’s no search function that I can find, even for the issues in the app. Not really that useful.
I vowed many years ago to retain my subscription to The New Yorker for as long as The writing remained substantial, erudite, au point, and interesting. This weekly Collection has exceeded my high expectations. I am grateful.
Easy to lose your place. Weirdly slow to load and to get back to your place. Come on, it’s just a reading app, but somehow they get it wrong.
