I ordered food through Uber Eats via the Uber app and after waiting over an hour they changed my delivery time and then canceled it outright 5 minutes later. The owner of the pizzeria told me that Jennifer the driver was annoyed that the food was not ready yet and left the restaurant. The owner then received notification that I canceled the order and I received an alert that they canceled the order. I had a house full of children and was forced to find a way to feed everyone at what was now a late hour. Uber Eats users beware as you will have no way to contact customer support on a canceled order and you have no recourse other than to try to find a new restaurant to cook your food which isn’t easy on a weekend for a large group. All this on an order that I received an Uber coupon WOW30OFF. Probably Uber’s way to scam and cheat clients after enticing them with a $30 voucher. Never again and they have lost a client forever and I just deleted the app.
I just downloaded the app to my new phone and it doesn’t give me the option to sign in. Every time I go through the steps it tells me email already in use. The app keeps opening a app I have for selling semi trucks whenever I try logging in through Facebook. An the few times I was able to somewhat log in through safari Uber wouldn’t send the verification code.
I got me on a 14 dollar trip they charged 68 dollars they will not say it was error on their end. Instead they blame you for now being shown a notification. They do this to minorities to over charge them. We need an alternate
Selected a ride at $25ish. We completed the ride and got an email after the ride was over stating they were “adjusting” the price by an extra $11ish to account for a “vehicle upgrade” we didn’t agree to. The app told us they couldn’t do anything about it so we emailed them directly. Told me they couldn’t find the trip I was asking about and sent me back to the app that led me nowhere. I’ve used the app twice ever and never again. Absolute garbage experience. They stole from me. Save your money, ride with lyft...
Needs a lot of improvement
Very convenient but the only issue I’ve been having lately is that when I schedule a ride it will say 8 min away but then I’ll look at my phone 2 or 3 min later and it will say Uber is here(or almost here) without even notifying me so I have to run downstairs so they don’t over charge me. Other problem is I’m not getting people that don’t speak English. And it’s hard for me to communicate with them. So when it comes time to pick me up from my job or my apt they either get here and I can’t explain them exactly where I’m at and I get charged for the ride, which is not fair at all.
Uber is very unreliable. It has been unreliable since the start of this pandemic. Drivers refuse to accept rides. Prices are unreasonable when there are few drivers. For instance, I once received a notification that the closest driver to my house would cost me $1,000. Drivers should not be allowed to accept rides then cancel them right away. I hate this app. It’s changed so much. Every time I request a ride it takes the app about five minutes to send me a notification saying “Your ride is now at a higher price.” It’s ridiculous at this point.
Worst app I’ve ever seen and their customer service and any kind of help is hidden away so that I just remain unable to use the service with no way to fix it. Uber has given me the worst experience I’ve ever had with a company & I really would think it best if Lyft took all their business & everyone that works at Uber be arrested for contributing to this holocaust of an app. I can’t begin to explain the myriad of problems and ways in which Uber has bent me over -not just a barrel-, but a cactus dripping hot sauce. Give me back my Uber cash that you won’t let me use and give me my $30 Uber eats coupon that I couldn’t use and is now expired. How do I get help.
I’ve been using Uber for about 4 months now for this new job due to Covid and Uber has been ringing my pockets dry! No matter the rewards that one may get while using Uber, it still rounds back up to the typical price amount before you would apply the rewards to a ride. And the timing as well. I have put in for a ride numerous of times and it’ll give me a 10 minute wait time then it’ll become a 20 minute wait. This is horrible. Better off using Lyft.
All the Uber’s I had so far missed signals and would delay me from work. Also the app lacks the add/change the destination.
