Uber is a ridesharing app for fast, reliable rides in minutes – day or night. There’s no need to park or wait for a taxi or bus. With Uber, you just tap to request a ride, and it’s easy to pay with credit card or cash (in selected cities only). Whether you’re going to the airport or across town, there’s an Uber for every occasion. Uber is available in more than 500 cities worldwide – download the app and take your first trip today. Requesting your Uber is easy – here’s how it works: - Just open the app and tell us where you want to go. - The app uses your location so your driver knows where to pick you up. - You’ll see your driver’s picture and vehicle details, and can track their arrival on the map. - Payment can be made by credit card, cash (in selected cities only), Apple Pay, PayPal and more. - After the ride, you can rate your driver and provide feedback to help us improve the Uber experience. You’ll also get a receipt by email. Need a simple way to get from A to B quickly? Take uberX, our most affordable option for individual travel. Want to save money on your ride? Couldn’t find our Destination, then could not find the hotel he picked us up from, even asked for our GPS to major hotel Sheraton Universal. Nice guy though!
Used Uber 8 times this week, unfortunately I’m not happy about being charged $21 for a trip from airport to hotel at 12:30 and $31 for the same trip Sunday at 4:00, no traffic same distance... ripoff
Ahora tienes que caminar para encontrar a el chofer de uber, la app no te da la opción de desactivar ese servicio de caminar.
I am being charged unnecessary fees. Almost every trip I am charged a late fee when I am the one waiting for the driver, or up charged for the ride. I’ve been taking screen shots as proof. I call to get credit which they issue. However, this last time I was told I got too many adjustments so it was against company policy to issue me a credit for this fake charge. I explained that it’s obvious the credit are for overcharged which happens too often, therefore the credits. I am the victim here not Uber. On many occasions the car is waiting one block over from the pickup location.
Tonight I place an order for a ride. Got a call from the driver couldn’t find the building. I was standing on the sidewalk waving my hand and the traffic was heavy. The driver ! Cancelled the trip BUT I was charge for the drivers time. What about my time? What about me having then to find another ride? Why am I paying for his failure to deal with the traffic? Please someone answer this!! Richard Allan.
Makes my life so simple. Saved me from owning a car!
This week alone I had so many issues with the app saying I was in one location when I wasn’t. I then had issues changing my start location so I could start a ride. This morning, it took me 20 minutes. Also , I had a promotion code for a ride that a company prepaid for me. It ket popping out of the promotion box and I needed to continuously add it back in.
My driver was the best. Thanks for a great service.
Israel is a nice person but had no idea how to get to Gillette Stadium. His GPS took him to a spot behind the stadium with no pedestrian access. There is a specific drop off point that Israel did not know about. He barely speaks English. We actually walked down a railroad track to get to the Stadium on our own. We should not have to pay for our ride. This is actually a fault of Uber for not directing Boston drivers how to access Gillette Stadium. Just in case someone actually reads this, Uber should do some training for divers in Boston.
Yes, I have the newest version that came out recently. Yes, I’ve force closed it and shut off the phone and reopened. Remember in the old days how you could watch a family member’s trip progress by opting for it in the app? Well, not anymore It appears that now you have to wait until you get the “hey, Johnny is taking an Uber” text message and in that text, there is a link. So, you wait for the text, you click the link, it opens your app, and nothing. You can’t see the trip. There is no “in app” way of tracking, and the text link doesn’t produce the intended page. iPhone XR with updated iOS and updated Uber app latest version Sorta frustrating to have an app degrade when the intention of a new app is to UPgrade and enhance the user experience.
