The WSJ app is the worst.
What happened? the paper should update daily but it no longer does.
The doesn’t have access to the comments sections, which are available only on the wsj website. Often, the comments are the best part of the articles!
I cannot stand being blocked from using the app until I install updates. It’s so obnoxious. Let me continue using the prior version until I’m ready, okay???
Cause without watchdog denial of of legit claims of all types will be swept under the rug forever and no matter which agencies you apply for assistance even with proper evidence whey will not honor it a Dhs evaluator revisited my claim in 2019 and 2020 and found I was placed in a wrong file because of the spelling of my name which was correctly up loaded to the zone and found to be incapacitated (INCAP) and social security disability is still saying I was overpaid and owe them 20,888 I’ve done some researching and 2019 because I was out of work from 2018 under doctors care for a preexisting disability under fmla I received a manual from my trust fund administrator called the plan and the fight I with my exemployer and their gang of units are playing their same game saying in 2008 they did something with the computer network and all records were lost so without evidence we have no proof so I sent in two sets to Dhs & Ssa 195 pages but things got worsted Irs is reporting to Ssa I was getting payment while claiming disability I discovering about a third party payer that was paying my worker compensation medical since 2003 although (I see claim for Wc denied) under Kaiser perm. I was covered under hippa and the privacy act they didn’t tell me and in 2018 I found out that privacy act is not to protect me it’s to protect them🦹🏼♀️
I really annoyed by Google ads in WSJ APP, anyone has ways to remove or block those Google Ads?
I like the app overall, but the search feature could use some work. I typed in “Nigeria oil” in the search terms, and an actual article title appeared underneath as i was typing. I clicked on it but WSJ could not find the article. After simply searching “Nigeria oil,” only one article showed and it was not the one suggested earlier. Now I googled “Nigeria oil” and google found yet another article on the WSJ app that the search feature did not show.
I enjoy the WSJ because it is my opinion that it prints the closest thing to the actual facts. Reports the news.
The iPad version of the WSJ news & market app doesn’t consistently perform automatic download of issues for me, at least as indicated by the circle symbols in the list of issues on the left hand column of first page. It only seems to work once. On the next day, the new current day’s issue just has a spinning circle, and doesn’t update showing download progress. Powering the iPad off & on again doesn’t cause the update to run. Deleting the WSJ app & reinstalling it successfully updates the selected number of issues to download, but I need to repeat this each day. My configuration has been stable for many weeks, with only iOS and app updates.
