ZINIO is a great place to purchase your faves! The prices are outrageously cheap! So many discounts available on great magazines. The app is a great way to view your digital mags!
UPDATE 3 Do NOT USE ZINIO. They will stop carrying magazines subscriptions that you pay for a full year and then not compensate you for the magazines you do not receive. I bought a year subscription to a magazine on their website, through an account that I set up on their website. Got 4 issues and then stopped receiving them. I requested my money back and they said they would send it to the card associated with the account. The card they sent it to was a previous debit card associated with the account, which I then updated. Now they are saying they will only refund it to the original mode of payment, ie to my cancelled card so there is no way I will get that refund. UPDATE 2 Here is an update to my last review. i challenge you to to actually use the search tools on this app or their website. I have purchased a magazine, so i know they carry it, but when i try to search by entering the name of the magazine, i get zero results for the magazine i am looking for...yet i can go to my library and pull up an issue i bought....the worst UI/UX...it is sad because i would really like to buy more issues of a magazine, but can not find it....even a page that lists every magazine they sell would be nice. If they have that, the. it is not obvious OLD REVIEW: I just recently got this app a d loved that i can get some great art magazines for inspiration. I have been having trouble with one magazine, America Art Collector. I bought a back issue to check out the publication and had a problem. Sows up in the library, but if i try to read it, I get a. error message. Sent email to support and they said there was a problem with the file and it would take a week to fix. Got it open a week later, so i purchased another back issue and got the same issue. wrote to customer support, this time the wanted screenshots of error messages. Somehow, it resolved itself in. a few hours. So then i subscribed to the the magazine, had no problem with the first issue, but the next month got an error message with that months issue, then i noticed that all the other previous issues of this magazine were in my library but were now showing as not being downloaded.( no green bar under the cover thumbnail. So i tried to download them and got error messages for 3 out of the 5 issues. The will not open in the app, but if i go to zinio.com i can log into the website and open them there. So something is wrong with the zinio app. i prefer the app as it runs smoother than the website.
Update: Issues resolved with coordination of tech support. I hope permanently, but I expect not. Long time, many years, user of this app. I’ve purchase several subscriptions. My problem is with borrowing. Most libraries use it for checking out magazines and this has been challenging. Over the last year or so, I have had continual issues with magazine that are checked out, but do not appear in the App Library. So, no way to read them. Using the support contact within app, most times it has been resolved. But it’s happening again now and it’s tedious. Back & forth low level support messages reminding me to sync 🙄 update (of course I wouldn’t have already done that 🙄) and me finally asking to escalate the issue. Magically, it gets resolved then. I’m stuck because I have no option if I want to use all the services my local library provides. I should add that with browsers, there’s no problem. But I like to read magazines on my iPad. I think they excel at that!

The app is very friendly! I can get magazines across the world. The customer service is always resourceful and responsible. Prompt reply and prompt turn around time!
