I play the computer on expert level and it tries to let me win. I want a challenge and I realize on that level I should rarely, if ever, win. I quit when I’m winning and I can plainly see it is letting me win. Once I do that a few times the algorithm knows to try to win. Not sure why the programmers think someone playing against expert level wants to win that way.
Great game. Hate to see it going away.
The magnification feature is a real deterrent - it should be optional. I want to be able to see the whole board at all times. Also, too many words in the lexicon are not in the dictionary- also a deterrent. It's too bad because this is otherwise a fabulously convenient way to play my favorite game. Best Word should be moved away
Out of date and backwards . Some words used everyday not ok with this version . THUMBS DOWN ,need to update on allowable words ,this is 2018 ,hello ? OK , now 2020 and you still are failing on words used daily...come on guys , get it right . Of course I’ll keep on playing , and cursing whomever decides some words don’t make the cut .🤷♀️
Love the game but I hate that there is no way to contact them if there is an issue. At least I have not found a way to so.
First off I want to know what happened to the chat feature? I used to be able to chat with opponents, and at some point it wasn’t there anymore. I’d like to know why there isn’t clear information and answers to questions that come up from time to time. I’d also like to be able to see what tiles are available when I want to trade some in. I’d also like to be able to invite friends to play, without having to go through Facebook.
Only problem is I keep getting a message saying they were unable to update the dictionary and that I have to “reload Scrabble” which I don’t know how to do.
Note: You CAN NOT use this to practice for regular Scrabble, it does not use the Scrabble dictionary and won’t allow many words that are in it. It also disallows many words found in standard dictionaries. Not clear which ones it uses, it does use lots of foreign words, including Welsh- no vowels! No challenges, so you can choose to put up with it or leave, period.
