This app is so hard to use. It has such weird controls and is always doing stupid stuff. If I could rate this lower than 1 star it would be -5 stars. There is nothing good to this app. It is easier to use some other writing apps. It is so weird and I wish it was easier to change data because I hate changing the data. I would rather use sticks to Wright on stones than use this app. It is the hardest app of all of the app and games on my phone this app is the pickiest and hardest to use. There are way better things to use than this app.
So I do school work I’m in fifth grade and I had a white board but I used my hands to clean it but now it’s easy just use the eraser at da I’m starrygirl789 hope u see me in other reviews
I use pages for work application, since last update app constently telling me i have no local data, then after resetting app several times all my data comes back. Also cannot rename any files. I make a copy of my service report to adjust for each customer, and app freezes when renaming, either from outisde or with the document. After several minutes, or having to reset app it renames it but gives an error failed to load helper or something. Never seen this before and have been using for 12 years. Please fix!!!!!!
I’ve tried every method recommended by Apple or elsewhere. My multiple page document is ruined by a blank page. Placing the cursor ahead of the page and deleting only moves content past the blank page and to the prior one. Following apple’s advice to click then click again then press delete delete the entire document. I’m currently losing time that will be billed to Apple incorporated and at this rate it won’t be cheap!
WLKY app when I pull it up GIVES the OPTION to update OR stay at version I currently have, and I say stay because my iPad silver does not run iOS 13 or higher. So I can use what functions I can. PAGES does not give me that option, it just sends me to upgrade, which I cannot do because I can’t run iOS 12! Please do what WLKY app did and give me access to my stored documents! Jack
What a headache...
Won’t back-up to iCloud now. Don’t know how to fix this. This app was okay three years ago when I first got my iPad, but has sucked royally with every new update since iOS 13. Updated: because this won’t access the server to back anything up, it also won’t download anything from the cloud either. Hence, most of my documents are store in the cloud, hence I can’t get to them. I’m so glad I had the foresight to email everything to myself before this happened and back it all up in separate documents on my laptop. This is really upsetting.
Really frustrating. I don’t have very many documents but virtually all of them have been archived. You are supposed to click on a document that is archived so you can use it again. When I do that, the circle goes round and round and my documents are never available again. I definitely regret using this app. (I have an iPad mini 5)
I have multiples of the same fil a, and cannot find a way to delete them.
I use Pages on a 6th gen iPad, and have for years. With the Apple Pencil, it is very easy to add proofreading marks. Or was. Late last year, whether as a byproduct to the universal distribution of iPadOS or a change in the 10.3 series versions, annotation stopped working _almost_ entirely. By almost, I mean the highlighter and eraser still work as advertised. But the other writing tools no longer can mark text. Clicking on pen, pencil or crayon markers gets a box to draw on. Turning on Smart Annotate gets a message on the screen that says to click anywhere to start drawing. There is no possibility of adding smart annotations, and so, no way to edit using proofreading marks. All the help and support (even in this latest version of Pages) still claim that smart annotation works, but show the old pen/cil tool set images, so we don’t have up-to-date help anywhere, either. That’s just tacky. Since the Apple Pencil works on nothing but Apple hardware, it is useless for any other maker’s hardware. Since it’s only real purpose for someone who isn’t a graphic artist, my >$100 Apple Pencil is now worth nothing. And I have to do all my editing in Word on my desktop, meaning I can only edit when I’m at home. This is a complete abrogation of the whole purpose of having an iPad as well as the pencil. I could read books on a $60 Kindle, which is lighter and has a really nice paper-like display... Please repair Smart Annotate so it works? Then I’ll give you back all those stars that Pages otherwise deserves. (This is the third time I’ve reported the loss of annotation in a quarter-year!)
