I’ve been trying to edit my spreadsheet that I created a couple weeks ago but it won’t let me and when I go to start a new spreadsheet it won’t let me pull up the keyboard.
Very difficult to accomplish simple things like graphs, not very user friendly.
The blank canvas with ability to place as many sheets into one leg is genius. Excel is a caveman’s tool compared.
Last nights update deleted ALL Numbers files previously stored on my iPhone. I had records and documentation, from as far back as early 2019, which survived all previous updates. This is a problem....
This was once one of my favorite Excel programs on the market. Now it is unusable on both IOS and Mac. I would be ashamed to put my name on this work. Man I wish Steve Jobs was around. He would of done the right things and fired these people long before these problems came. Stay Away from this app. It literally made all my important excel sheets unusable. I can open them and everything and even type but it is stuck at half scrolled so I can only see have of the document. And forget about selecting them. Thats only one complaint I can go on forever. 1 month ago I did not have these problems.
After recent Numbers updates and upgrade to iPadOS 14.1, Numbers has become unstable. When closing a document, it reverts to my iCloud Drive instead of my local Numbers folders. I have to go to my iPad folders and reopen the Numbers folder. I have stopped using Numbers on my iPad Pro as a result and reverted to Office on my PC for spreadsheets.
I have been using Numbers for invoices and menu planning for several years and find it easy to use. Have also set up a sheet to track my blood pressure and blood glucose. Enjoy having these items at my finger tip. Since banks no long offer check ordering and all the companies you order checks from are now charging for check registers. It would be great to have one in the personal or business section of numbers. I hope at some point you will consider offering this as a part of your templates. I'm not sure I'm tech savvy enough to set this up on my own and a template would be so helpful.
Both apps - MS Excel and Google Sheets are about 250mb and do very well productive. Apple Number eats up the space and does not do well. Apple must find a way to improve to cut down its size.
It’s fixed now
I love this app and use it often, I just wanted to point out in the new update I have an issue that you can’t click on anything on the bottom right corner, such as the keyboard logo or the cell logo.
