Numbers worked on my phone for a year to track my workout plans, but with the new update, it doesn’t save on my phone, can’t be found with search, and doesn’t print properly. Get it together, Apple. Put customers first.
I like Numbers a good bit as a spreadsheet app. I use it on my Mac all the time, but it's useless on iOS. Why? Because the iOS version is so dependent on iCloud Drive, which is an utter abomination and one way ticket to data loss. Use Numbers on a Mac where you can store data locally, or on Dropbox or OneDrive. But stay away from anything reliant on the disaster that is iCloud Drive. I'm fully on Big Sur and iOS 14 and Apple still can't get iCloud Drive reliably functional. Data loss is constant as versions don't reliably update. Numbers files (Pages and Keynote too) won't load on iOS. The open dialog just shows a spinning wait symbol forever. When files do open, you're likely to get an old version, as changes from your Mac haven't synced. If you're lucky, you can close the file without having iOS overwrite the newer version, but not always. In that case it's bye bye newer changes!
I don’t know why this app gets so much hate. It works flawlessly and the interface is very well done. The only grief I have with it is that it takes up half a gig, otherwise everything else is great about it.
No on screen keyboard, not able to cut/paste but the keyboard is biggest issue. BT keyboard works, Scribble works--but not onscreen keyboard which makes this as mobile a real problem. BTW--it works fine in 11 Pro Max phone and Mini 5.
I have been using this app since my work requires it. So my service reports are all here. I noticed sometimes that some of my reports are being deleted automatically. Also, while using the search bar on the app to look for past reports, nothing shows up, even tho I can see some reports on the page of what I’m searching. For instance, I want to look for a certain name, so I begin to type, nothing appears on the search, but while scrolling down, the reports are there. This app used to work better a couple of years ago. What happened?
Can’t update numbers because the software needs to be at 13.1 on my iPad but that update isn’t available but numbers won’t load because the update isn’t available. This is months in the waiting. Stop worrying about politics and corona and do your techy job. We don’t need your political views, we need bugs fixed.
It makes me wanna punch my ipad.
There doesn’t seem to be a very large selection of templates, and there are VERY few actually different graph options. There’s pretty much just slightly different colors/formats of bar graphs and pie charts, so it isn’t very useful.
I am unable to do anything in numbers now. I keep getting an error, “spreadsheet cannot save.” It is also freezing constantly. Please fix.
