ICD10 Consult puts the most searchable, complete, current ICD10-CM resource at your fingertips. With flexible search that speaks your language, a deep understanding of the codes, customizable code notes which integrated into your search, and more, this is the resource you wish your EMR provided. With ICD10 Consult, you’ll never have to flip through a 30 pound book or go hunting for a coding reference page again... nor will you scratch your head wondering which 'magic word' is in the code's name. • Deep code analysis allows easy handling of laterality, encounter, and staging codes, letting the app do the work of finding the perfect code • Add your own custom notes to any code which will appear seamlessly within search results • Tens of thousands of medical acronyms and synonyms are transparently cross-referenced to let you search using the terms you are used to; e.g. "MI" to "Myocardial Infarction" • Search term flexibility understands that, for example, 'vertebrae' matches 'vertebra' and 'ovarian' matches 'ovary' • ICD-10 tabular and alphabetical indexes integrated and simultaneously accessed to maximize results • Instant linkage within code descriptions • Coding guidelines as well as section and chapter instructions tightly integrated • Know at-a-glance if a code is valid for reimbursement or if more specificity is needed • Browse diagnoses by chapter, section and subsection; search within specific hierarchies • Favorites list allows quick access to your most common codes, with groups to organize them • Convert ICD9 codes to ICD10 by name or by code number The current 2020 ICD10-CM codes were effective October 1, 2021. The app draws the complete code database directly from the data files available at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). ICD10 Consult also provides full searchable and browsable access to the old ICD9-CM codes which were in use until October 1, 2015. ICD10 Consult is ad supported to provide you with the current, up-to-date codes. In-App Purchase is available to disable ads. There are no bait-and-switch limited features.
I am a former OB LABORIST. I did that for 5 years and now went back to a group practice. 36 years of L&D experience. Never liked the idea of being forced to code but not given a choice. This app is very concise, complete and easy to use. You can search by code or diagnosis. Hats off to the developers. It has an excellent database. Love it
Handy and accurately line up criteria for all diagnostic and subtypes-thank you so much
Great app. I tried others. Best overall so far & good added features. Use it almost daily. Got support with question. Would be good to have app backup in cloud if lost app for any reason with lost or broken phone.
Very helpful and easy to understand.
Very well designed! I really like the ability to look up any diagnosis by name, without the need to search through categories. Much more efficient than going through printed lists.
As I age, my patients age along with me and acquire the “burden of disease” that may come even with “normal” aging. ICD-10 gives relatively easy access to the code numbers for the non-psychiatric illnesses that certainly can complicate the course and treatment of mental illness. I would hope that having access to these codes might even lead to quicker prior authorizations for medications—which certainly are an albatross around all our necks. KSSHRINK
Worked great until last update. Now typed words/letters/numbers do not appear on the search bar when you type in a search term. The app is reading the term but what I type does not appear in the search bar. I have tried contacting developer about this twice. Without this fail, it is a 5 star app. Please fix1
Easy to use and fast
I have the free version and after the last update my app crashes every time I open it It works now! Thank you very much!!!
