App states that the service is $14.99/month, but my credit card is charged $43.16/month?? Newsday says they emailed me about rate increases, but there were no emails. They also say the current fee us $14.99/WEEK. However the app still says $14.99/month. Tried to call and clear up, but no help. Had to fight the credit card charge and put a stop payment on the monthly fee. No need to treat customers poorly. Avoid the drama. Stay away!
Will miss the paper if we discontinue it because the cost is too high. Need to have a paper delivered enjoy the sections of the paper. Having the option to view on-line is extremely useful. Takes away from other reading that I should complete. Although I devote my time to read Newsday it is not the only option to use my mind daily. Challenges to broaden our desires can be researched at our own costs. Please consider a reduction for next renewal - a loyal reader of Newsday
I cant log in!! Reset email never comes. Very disappointed !!!
Thanks for covering high school track with consistency this past year. Newsday had brought attention to individuals and teams from public, private and Catholic schools. In a world where running is sometimes overlooked, your writers and photographers have supported young runners and the sport as a whole.
Local paper with investigative reporting…a rarity.
I’ll have full service, every other app works except Newsday.
Stop asking me for my feedback after every article!!!
We have Newsday delivered and and still get blocked when we access the website.
One of the poorest news apps I’ve seen. From failure to load to the app cutting out in the middle of reading an article makes this app frustrating and amateurish. Not only one of the poorest, but one of the worst apps. Continues to be a poor app with no improvement since the above paragraph was written quite a while ago. The app is very, very slow to load and constantly asks for a login. Just a shame that Newsday can’t improve this very frustrating representation of their publication.
I try to read Newsday and the Post every day. Newsday just reports the news, and “The Post” is so far to the right they cannot report the news objectively, consequently complete bias reporting. Sometimes I read “The Post” it’s like reading Facebook so I rely on “Newsday for accurate reporting therefore the main reason I read and rely on Newsday. Ed The Stanner Everything that has been written above is true but the main reason can be recapitulated into one word why I read Newsday that I am not getting with most medians today and that word is “TRUTH”.
