Just learning how to play a guitar and banjo. This is helping me to play along even if I can’t keep up or sound terrible. Some I will get there if I keep trying.
I love this app!!! I use it whenever I need understanding on a song. UltimateGuitar has helped me play dozens of songs already!
This app/site is ALL you need to get chords, tabs, lyrics, and info, to play and even transpose music. They really should charge more. ( But don’t tell them I said that). I’m an amateur piano and guitar player, and this is the only apps that I use. I bought the lifetime membership and have been using this for many years. Rock on!
What a gift
The only thing I want to learn is songs and patterns; this app is close to perfect, the scrolling feature is nice, as well as all the different song interpretations; it’s not my only guitar app, but one of the most used. 🤘

Immediate crash on start up needs fixing pronto.
I used ultimate guitar for years. Once I discovered it approximately 5 years ago, I was hooked and couldn’t find a better website for tabs. I found out they had an app, & I was so pumped I downloaded it right away. The use of the app is fine, the software is great. The user support is kind of awful. I somehow found myself with an automatic paid yearly subscription(Clearly this was some sort of mistake, I can’t afford to pay for services like this regardless of how often I use them). So I went to support and they basically told me sorry, talk to apple. I had to go through a long apple support process and practically beg for my money back and for them to cancel my subscription. Regardless this was a while back, and When you reach out to UG support they have a field where you fill in the name they should use contacting you. Originally I used my birth name, as I hadn’t figured out I was trans yet. Recently I’d been going through some of my favorite apps and changing user names, etc. to match my identity as it’s been long enough for me to be quite certain. I noticed that within the app it stated I was *still subscribed* to the yearly, and I couldn’t figure out how to change my user name. I knew going back to support that my situation is pretty rare and that my previous messages may have stated a different name. But the name field was still there when I went back, and I used my new name. I even signed on & off my message with my new name to be perfectly clear, and outlined the situation I find myself in. The portion with my name change and wanting to change my user name accordingly, however, was entirely disregarded, and to top it off, they used my old name. Naturally I was frustrated & reached out again sticking up for myself, pointing out that I was so clear about my situation. I wanted to reach a resolution with ultimate guitar. But I was contacted again by the same woman and met with sass, attitude, and “Your previous message is the first place we've ever seen any mention of [your new name], but sure, if this is how you prefer to be called - who are we to argue?” I deleted the app soon after and will not be returning after this treatment, needless to say.
In-app purchases is bait, you have to buy a subscription. You can’t just buy the app and have access, and using the website s clunky. Pay or find another chord site/service. I was unable to use this app for any songs other than the preloaded ones. Bummer.
