I was really happy with Venmo until the last few months. I keep getting notifications after notifications to upload my identity verification!! Well I’ve done it about 10 times and I’m still getting notifications!!!! I’ve even given it to representatives. That still doesn’t work. I’m ready to drop Venmo and use another source.
For some reason in the app it says you have to set up Auto-Reload to automatically pull money from your backup debit card on file to cover costs if your venmo balance isn’t enough, yet it had no issue pulling money from my debit card on file to cover an unauthorized purchase that came through Venmo. I don’t exactly want to reload $10 every time I make a minimal purchase with my card, because then I’ll just have a few dollars sitting in the venmo account that I won’t use anytime soon. That’s just a minor issue but it’s one that’s annoying enough to deter me from using the app or the card for a while, if not at all.
I love this app. Ive used it for several years but the new update is trash. It keeps getting slower and please!!! bring back swiping. Some of our thumbs arn’t 6” long.
Great app, 10/10
Handy and convenient software
I hate Venmo it’s not a good app at all
This app is Th worst.
So much easier to use than PayPal and more secure
In particular, there is now a lag in available funds when I receive money and when I transfer it to a bank. Sometimes I even have to close the app from the background to get it to refresh my current balance in the UI
