Took a great app and killed it

You now have to pay for even the basic line tool.. unless you plan on paying, the app is dead. Many other apps allow for these functions free. “They’re high” - Greg Rose TPI

Clips too blurry

You can hardly see your club and hand in downswing particularly around the time of impact so there’s not fun nor much use. It’s only good for checking your head, hip and body. But then if you want to check those things at impact then you have to guess when your impact is—it’s that bad. Phone camera has improved but not this app! Also it does not seem to allow for export/share. You cannot save annotations. And while you are on session with camera the app just lets the phone dim then locks off! Nice things are you can put a clip of Korda or McIlroy side by side with your clip for comparison.

Renewal scam - beware!

V-One billed my credit card for an annual subscription renewal that I did not want without advance warning (which is illegal in my state) and when I contacted them to cancel and request a refund they refused. Very very shady business practice. They should be ashamed. And you, fellow consumer, should beware. This is a disreputable company that is glad to rip you off if given a chance.

Was a great App before they ruined it

V1 used to be the best swing analysis app out there. Then they came out with an update that made the app a lot more modern looking but also completely ruined it. The app is so buggy now that virtually anything you do is gauranteed to crash it. Also they no longer accept uploading of slowmo videos recorded through the normal iPhone camera app. They’re trying to force you to use their app to record videos. Such a shame what they did to the app.

Video import function doesn’t work

Every time I attempt to import a video I get an error message saying unable to import please try again later.

Golf App Failure

I subscribed to V1 to be able to use the Editing Tools. Sadly, the Box and Circle tools will only let me draw freehand lines, which I was able to do with a FREE account. And there’s no way to label which club you are hitting as depicted in their You Tube instructional videos. Next time, I’ll pay for a similar app rather than give the people behind this junk any more money. Worst of all is the video playback is blurry and can’t be slowed down enough to see which way my club face is pointing during the swing. The free version of this app worked better than the current paid version. So sorry I am subscribed to this mess.

The free version was better than the new $60 paid version.

For $60, you need some infrastructure, which V1 seemingly does not have. For $60, expectations are pretty high, and unfortunate that the new upgrade not as good as the old, free version.
