Great app, could use some quality of life improvements

Really good app. Great for losing weight. I went from 227 to 169 using my fitness pal but, there are some things that could help especially ios 14 widgets and night mode

It’s kept me focused on health!

I have been using My Fitness Pal for about 3 years. It has helped to keep me focused on healthy food choices, keeping active and hydration intake. As a result my progress has been slow and mostly steady. I highly recommend this app for those wanting support to take better care of themselves!

With lot of apps charging you $$ upfront, this is an app with a free version, which gives you more than what you need just to monitor your calories intake.

So helpful

My husband and I have off and on used this app since about 2018. We would start then give up and start and give up. Every time we stopped because it’s hard to devote energy to eating properly we would gain back the weight. So this past June 2021 we decided to go at this again. This time we didn’t want to give up. The simple concept that this app provides isn’t about points or restrictions it’s about eating proper portions and eating within what your daily calorie intake should be for a person of your desired weight loss. Since then I have lost over 20 pounds and he has lost 30 pounds. It isn’t easy but this app holds us accountable for our behaviors with food. We both want to be healthier for each other so we are around for not only our kids but for each other. I would recommend for people to try it. Plus it’s free. The paid for portion isn’t necessary to be successful unless you want to.
