Ridiculously buggy
This is an insanely buggy app where the customer service link leads nowhere, chat and likes won’t register people I swiped left or unmatched with, old messages reappear as new and unread, and active conversations temporarily disappear (and then reappear). If this much is going wrong with people I’m not interested in, I wonder what’s going wrong with the other side — people I am interested in. This service isn’t cheap. I’m frustrated by how buggy and unreliable the app seems to be.
Please stop with the repeat profiles
So if I swipe left, it means I’m not interested. Why does OKCupid feel the need to bring them back up again 17 different times? Tired of swiping left on profiles I’ve already swiped left on 17 other times. If I swipe left, there’s a reason. I don’t need to keep seeing them! Please stop the repeats!!
why don’t intros show up?
the app heavily encourages you to write an intro and people often ask for intros in their profiles….. but if you send one, there’s a 50/50 chance they won’t be notified and you’ll just be tossed back in the heap. why? it’s hard enough to get the courage to send a message out, and now you can’t tell if they read and swiped left or simply never saw it at all. please change it back to how it used to be!!

Changes Your Profile Without Consent
This app answers questions for me that I never answered, changed my preferences for dating on its own, changes my status without my consent. BILLED ME TWICE. I used it 8yrs ago and it was great-now its completely a waste of money, time, and security. You are paying to let them data mine and nothing more.

Someone constantly popping up in your recommended? Don’t block them! Just wait for them to like you! Then they’ll never show up on your recommended ever again!
Same people over & over and miles away
I requested people only 40 miles away and they consistently provide the profiles of people well beyond that. If that isn’t bad enough, there’s no way other than blocking someone to not see their profile again. It’s the same profiles over and over again. There’s a fundamental issue here and it’s why I barely use it. I would be happy to amend this review if that ever gets solved
Whale watching
I’m not against anyone overweight or large people because they are human too. I could not get over the huge fat obese men who were just about every picture. These men were all head shots with gigantic heads and bearded. I wondered if these fat men actually would find some women who would choose them. One day I counted 100 gigantic whale like men in a row I left clicked on. The rest of the men who were homely were making negative faces seems like a vast plethora of unhappy males. The men who weren’t making faces were telling women to contact them. It was just a scary waste of time..
COMPLETE TRASH
Congrats MatchGroup on completely destroying what used to be THE BEST dating app a just few years ago. Why they decided to do so, I’ll never know, but my god this app is complete garbage now. I got a “half off” offer ($22US) and paid to see my likes. The VAST majority were obvious bots and scammers from Kenya, Uganda, Philippines, Thailand, Russia, and Brazil. 🙄 There were few added benefits to a paid subscription. DO NOT PAY THEM ANYTHING. OKCUPID IS TRASH.
Is this site have real members.
This site is funny… I’m on one other site and get local matches every day but this site seems to primarily give me matches from Africa and Asia Europe and every continent in the world except within 10-20 miles of my local area. I really wonder does it have any local members or members at all?
