I turn to this app many times a day and refer it to my recovery family frequently. As a sponsor and in many different forums for quitting drinking there is a boredom, an emptiness that quitting your vice leaves behind. I leave any of the Insight Timer apps meditations, breath-work, yoga, affirmations, and live talks with positivity and a lightness in my step and in my heart for the remainder of the day. Whether it’s a morning meditation, afternoon enlightening pick me up, or night time wind down, this has become my new healthy habit for 2023 and I’m sharing it with so many in recovery-even from cigarettes or sugar-who rely on it when they are feeling irritable, angry, bored, lonely, and any other way that would cause them to reach for a vice. I would like to see some free challenges on the calendar that are easy to find for newcomers. Something as easy as a 7 or 10 day check in could help many people with over eating, cigarettes, drinking, etc. as a new healthy habit. I loved the healthy habits challenge of 2023 and have gone back to it frequently. Thanks so much for my continued sobriety.

What a great app for finding peace and inspiration. I've used it everyday for a long time for free. Then joined the plus sessions and donated to teachers that I like and enjoyed. There is so much content to explore. It makes me appreciate my life. Try it!

I’ve been using insight timer for about 4 months. I’ve noticed a significant improvement in the quality of my sleep. Most importantly, I’ve noticed that I’m starting to sleep through the night again. No more “witching hour” wake ups. I’ve been recommending this app to friends and family.

Won’t sync with Apple health

It doesn’t consistently sync with Apple health. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn’t. I just noticed and im so annoyed to lose all that data. Try Timefully, the interface is much nicer and it saves your data consistently.

I’ve been using this app for quite some time with great success. It’s really helped in my healing meditation process. This last update, all of my contacts is gone. The only thing on the homepage is a challenge. My personalized feed is gone the meditations are missing, very disappointed.

I am beyond pleased with the Insight Timer, I have been using it steadily for over a year now and it is such a great addition to my day. My focus is on mindfulness, it has a nearly endless supply of fantastic meditations, talks, and breath work to help you achieve your goals if you have the intention to do so.
