It’s wonderful. I just wish that the notes would save. After like a week they don’t save and I don’t know what pants I wore with what shirt.
I’ve tried them all, and this is definitely the best of its kind. Reminds me of the old school polyvore days for my elder millennials. I initially used it more for trip planning but have just started using it religiously for trying out a capsule wardrobe. The greatest room for improvement is adjusting item size. For some reason, it is difficult to adjust the size of items with pinching and pulling, but if you hold down on them you get the option to manually resize. However, the location of the manual resize bar is really tricky for the newer iPhone models (it wants to switch apps on you). The only other area to make this app better would be the introduction of a widget to see what’s upcoming.
My friend showed me this app, and I’m always vaguely calculating cost per wear in my head. This makes it so much easier. I literally downloaded the app yesterday and talked another friend into getting it that night. It stresses me out to plan so many outfits before a trip, so I’m excited to see how this app can help with packing and outfit planning. Currently, it’s taking me awhile to add items, but the iPhone copy feature helps a ton! I have high hopes and am leaving a review to convince others to buy it! I would love to be able to add friends and integrate weather.
The app’s archaic method of having to manually synch items between devices in 2023 is ridiculous. Other apps have the ability to synch automatically between devices (phones and tablets) without issue. The Stylebook app requires you to manually go through a process of individually selecting items to transfer through their “wi-fi” transfer system. Who has time for that in this day and age? Otherwise the app is pretty handy.
Please do you have plans to allow backing up data or allow syncing across devices? Would all my work be lost if something happened to my phone? I would cry! Absolutely LOVE the app. Thank you.
Love using this app! Especially for travel.
Unless you have a green screen, professional photography set up, don’t care what the clothes look like, or are using all photos from online, don’t bother with this app. I’ve tried multiple backgrounds on the floor and hanging up clothes, multiple lighting options. No matter what I do I can’t get half decent photos of my clothes without manually editing every inch of each item. Waste of time and money
I love this app and lots of things about it. I just wish it was updated more often! I wish it were possible to import multiple things at once, favorite outfits/clothing items, and some way to display an outfit at random (because some days I don’t wanna pick)
Photo editor isn’t good enough for the price
The in-app photo editing is SO bad. I’m taking well lit photos on a plain white background and this app cannot properly remove the background at all. I have to use PS Express on all of my photos first, which I highly recommend. It removes all the necessary background on the first try. Very tedious to have to take pic, edit in PS, save, then add to stylebook and still adjust the terrible auto editing. I expect better software from a paid app.
