I’ve filed two or three support requests since I started using ForeFlight, and I always get help within the hour. And then there was the time where I was trying to get a csv logbook import sorted out, and it took several uploads. ForeFlight staff noticed this, and contacted me just out of the blue to see if there was anything they could help with!
The wonderful thing about ForeFlight is the great tech. support. When you have questions, simply email tech support and they will answer your question with either an email or a phone call. When I added Sentry to ForeFlight, Albert answered all my questions about subscriptions, installation, and operation. After a trial flight, Albert spend 50 min. answering all my questions. ForeFlight is the best investment towards my flying safety and enjoyment. Henry.
After two flawless years of use, I did develop a technical problem with ForeFlight. I sent an email to support and within minutes I had a personal response (on a Friday evening!!!). After a couple of exchanges, the issue was better, but not solved. To my utter surprise, I received a call from Albert who added the final touch to solve the problem (which was predominantly a user error). I can not recall when I last received such support from a tech company. That commitment tells you all you need to know.
ForeFlights email Team response was quick and accurate as a new user. What a great investment even a basic program was.
I had a suggestion for a feature I didn’t realize existed and Todd walked me through on how to activate that feature. Super quick and accurate response.
I began using ForeFlight as a student pilot in 2017. Aside from my kneeboard, it is the most important piece of equipment I fly with. If given the choice of having to fly without my Lightspeed headset or ForeFlight, I’d choose to take my iPad with ForeFlight every time. Charting, nav logs, flight planning, weather, airport information, frequencies, it’s all so simple. I struggle to think how difficult it would’ve been to be a VFR pilot without ForeFlight. Completely worth the $299 annual cost.
ForeFlight is second to none! Works great. Unfortunately all the great features they are coming out with are only for professional or rich pilots. What they give you on the lower tiers of the subscription is also available on cheaper or even free products. I would hate to give this up, but I am starting to be priced out of the product. This is what happens when companies and developers get greedy. Please don’t forget that GA is the blood of your client base.
I don’t fly as often as I would like to, but when I do fly this is my go to app. Easy to use and has everything that I need in one place. Many times I have used it just to check weather in various locations.
We all talk the talk about safety and being better pilots and all that Jazz - and ForeFlight actually makes you a better pilot. So many excellent tools like checklists and flight plan filing and my favorite, recent IFR clearance routes so you know what to expect from ATC. Thanks for doing such a great job, FF. Such a safe and efficient tool.
Table has been changed and is effectively useless for wind data. A trip direct from Houston to Chicago only yields two wind reports for the trip.... come on. Simplifying is great, but that’s just useless and arguably unsafe.
