Beware when accepting the 7 day trial. I got charged 169.99 for an annual subscription on top of a 24.99 monthly subscription. When you register, they are intentionally deceptive in hopes you’re just trying to accept all terms without paying enough attention so you’re also accepting a “plus” version of the app for $169.99 a year in addition to the $24.99 a month. Emailed them twice, no response. Who would pay $470 annually for fax service? Hope this app get dropped from apple for this sham of an app.
When the free 7 days was up, I was billed for not only a month’s subscription but also a year’s subscription. At first simultaneously,$210, which was flagged by my credit card company. 2 days later, they charged it separately.
I hate when apps try to get good reviews when I’ve had them for fewer than 10 minutes
Great app best out
I spent the high price for the fax service only to find that I can’t send a fax to the number I want. Even if I create a contact, the program does not recognize it. A waste of money.
I downloaded this app with the understanding that I would have a 7-day free trial and could cancel at any time, as advertised. Within the first day, when trying to send an important fax to a physician regarding test results of my elderly father’s significant illness, the “free trial” did not allow for more than one fax a month, and that one fax would not allow more than 30 pages. I had five documents totaling 19 pages, so I combined the pdf files into one pdf document of 19 pages. However, there continued to be some problem with the fax not going through, or asking me to enter a credit card number even though I opted for the 7-day free trial through Apple Subscriptions. So, I canceled the subscription THE SAME DAY, within 20 minutes of downloading; and used a good old fashioned fax. However, although Apple Subscriptions acknowledged I cancelled the subscription, today I was charged for the month. I canceled within the 7-day trial (actually I cancelled within minutes of downloading), and I was still charged; AND never even was able to fax with the free trial. This app is very misleading and very unethical; but that’s the way these scam apps work, I guess. I won’t make that same mistake again. I am giving you an authentic review and warning: keep searching for a different app; and, one that will actually honor its advertisement of a free 7-day trial with the ability to actually cancel at any time (even during that 7-day trial).
Gave this app a try to see if it was going to be my primary faxing app and several factors determined it would not be. Among them now, the awful customer service. You can do a trial and “cancel anytime” but the cancellation of both your account and subscription are subsequently left up to the iFax moderation team or however they label themselves. I’ve contacted support on 3 different occasions and received no reply. I am very confident that they intend to charge me for using their trial as they refuse to reach out and establish any amount of contact. Beware of this
App says there’s a 7 day free trial but immediately charges you $27.
Don’t sign up. Is not free auto bills and requires a second fee to set up a fax number to continue. Scam
It was my first time to use the fax app because I needed to send the information that is really important from home to my work computer it urgent and I am so excited the app work nicely after I paid for the subscription in the app. so I give you all my 5 stars
