Provides graphic detail.
I’m not a working photographer now, but still need the info that Sunseeker provides. I occasionally shoot portraits outdoors and landscapes, obviously outdoors. Sunseeker is my “go to” tool for planning those photo shoots.
I love that I can figure out how much sun and shade potential flowerbeds will get. For beekeeping if the hives will get enough sun in the winter.
App gives a great way to see where the sun is going to be at any particular time and place in a room using AR. Also has a great graphic that shows direction of sun light overlayed on a map that you can manipulate to see the direction of the sun on a location through the day. Glad I bought it!
I’ve been a professional director of photography for over a decade- specializing mostly in natural light situations. Sun seeker has been one of my go to reference and planning apps for the majority of the productions I’ve supported. Keep it up. Dom
As a pool landscape architect this has helped me in design and in educating clients in where the sun will be for best functionality and shade structure locations.
Not always very accurate!
Use it all the time professionally and casually :)
Hope the developers can implement a 3D view of the mapping to ensure close hillsides don’t intercept sunlight. Please update this- Strava, All Trails, etc use these maps, should be an easy crossover.
I love using this app camping for lining up my tent at night to get shade to sleep in in the morning. Plus it’s so fun to see where everything is regarding us and our star.
