This used to be a really useful, simple app. You take a photo, and you can look up the color code of your pallet, and order your paint. Now it has become a text/article based social media wanna be. It is now a waste of space on my phone, when I try and use it, I can’t even accomplish a simple task like getting color codes, you’ve added too much to the app and took away the simplest functions that were useful. I just deleted it from my phone, you had a good thing and you ruined it. you should’ve just started something new and left the old simple app alone.
This app used to work like a dream. All blues are purple, black is brown, etc. pretty disappointing.
It’s very difficult to navigate. I can see how they were trying to simplify the process but even the tutorials are unhelpful. I simply wanted to pull a palette from my photos and I could only take photos and not upload. Very frustrating and disappointing.
If you scan in a photo it will often show you colors on it that are close the the original one but not really the exact one even though they exist in the pantone family. Could be way better.
I was ready to fall in love with this app... but it’s way off in marching colors from photos. No way I could use this professionally. Trying to move/drag the selection circle on the same patch of color in a photo (in hopes of it actually capturing the correct matching color)results in some muddied, far off range of neutrals when trying for a light blue, and a vibrant violet was sadly reduced to a muddied mauve.
If your an artist like me who has trouble deciding on colors this is a life saver. My favorite feature is that if you pick a color it shows you all the color harmonies you could use! Only downside is it’s a little expensive if you want all the colors. But overall worth it if you need help with color.
This app needs to get its act together to be utilized as a Pantone designing tool, which means no crashing, and if the interface could flip horizontally for upright desk work.
I used to love using this app, but lately I can’t get it to open, regardless of how well my signal or WiFi connection is. It usually tries to load and then crashes before it is able to actually open. Please fix it!
I wish the app also included uncoated formula guides. It would be much more convenient for printers and I’d happily pay an associated subscription fee.
