Doesn’t work

Title says it all. App doesn’t work. Have premium account. Can’t even login. Why no gmail sign on? If you’re gonna publish an app for a premium subscription at least add minimal viable features.

Reset Password

Care.com is a terrible app and service in general. But they really outdid themselves with the “one-time” link when you try to reset your password. So instead of being able to reset your password so you can use the app, they send you an email with a one-time link to your account that opens in a web browser on your phone. You cannot change your password in the phone web browser, you cannot access your app because you can reset your password, so now it’s just this never ending cycle of having to access my account by going to the app, clicking on forgot password, getting a link in my email, using the link to access the phone web version, repeat…

Not accurate

This app can be very deceiving, you want to hire someone with a set rate and they change the price when you seem interested also they lied about they qualifications.

Delayed messaging and poor filters for searches

The messages are delayed and often don’t load. The searches are different every time and doesn’t seem like the filters work.

Not user friendly

This app gets stuck on their pop up all the time and I have to delete it all the time to get it off. I pay for premium. I would just use mobile site but it doesn’t save your place when you’re searching and click on a person, so you have to start ALL OVER! What a time waster. So I tried using app so I ca at least favorite everyone I want to write but I’ve only had the app 15 mins and had to delete it twice. They need to hire better tech people.

No results

So far, I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with the application. No results and no good candidates. Also, the admin is tricking you to pay when their app has so many glitches and does not stop payment when you scheduled to stop. Then you’re stuck to lag and apparently no refunds.

I have no idea why this app has a high rating

This is probably one of the worst apps I have ever purchased. It is super confusing and there is no possible way to speak with anyone about problems. I have posted my job and I am unable to edit errors that are very critical. Currently, Ia caregiver is attempting to contact me, but I cannot contact her because when I try to reply, it goes to a’ DO NOT REPLY’ address! I’ve wasted an afternoon waiting to hear from someone I was hoping to meet for an interview. But there was no way to get in contact and she is unable to see my messages! For $40 a month. I expect a lot more… it’s so frustrating that it is simply not worth it. I have wasted so much time on this website that I’m just disgusted.

I’ve decided I’m sick of this app

I don’t care for it. They totally ripped me off about 2 months ago. We accidentally scheduled a babysitter and canceled the appt, but Care took almost $200 from our credit card that they refused to reverse because they said they paid the babysitter, even though they never came to our house. And then, even though you pay all this money to just have the app, you still aren’t allowed to just send messages to people that come up in a search query? Like, they want you to select the people and they send the message. But if you find someone through another section of the app, you are allowed to send messages. All in all, this app leaves you feeling ripped off and like they don’t invest in streamlining or making the user experience better than ‘not good’.
