Great app
Love this app so much it has all the devotional books I love great resource
Love the app – previous versions were better
One of the reasons I got the Tekarta app was because another Bible app I used started adding a mandatory daily devotional that you couldn’t take out of the program. So I went to Tekarta because I just wanted a Bible app. Now they’ve added touchpoint on auto scroll over the verse of the day, and a couple other things and I miss having a Bible app that isn’t so busy.
I Wish
I had issues and Tecarta was patient. After numerous emails and about a month we resolved. Downloaded new version. Not perfect but better. Could have had same solution WITH ONE PHONE CONVERSATION BUT THEY WON’T DO THAT! Update. Trying to add to new iPad. Cannot get new version to load. After trials from previous attempts. I have decided to give up.

Long-time supporter of this app, until now.
I’ve been a subscriber for quite a while; initially had purchased individual Bible translations and resources and then around 4 years ago started with the subscription. The card I used to pay for it was generated specifically for use with Tecarta. I use this every Sunday at least, and have made extensive notes and highlights. Recently I opened the app to receive a notification that I needed to renew my membership. I immediately logged in to the Tecarta web site to find that the card they had on file had expired. I was in the process of revising it with new information when it told me that my renewal would be at a significantly higher price than before. I emailed support and they said basically, “yes, you understand correctly”. They offered to give me a discount on the first year, provided I paid for a year at a time. I responded back, asking if there was anyone else who may be able to restore my account as it was. Also I requested a copy of all of my retained data under the California consumer laws. Hopefully I’ll be able to transpose my data in such a way as to use it in a different Bible application— as it appears that is my only recourse. Certainly not going to place any trust in Tecarta again. I could have bought most of the books outright by now, but figured I was supporting a worthy cause. The support agent did make a point in telling me that buying all of the books outright which I was interested in would still place ads within the app. The only way to remove the ads is to subscribe. “But there aren’t any ads on the Bible pages” For now, anyway. God Bless and I still am holding out hope that Tecarta will do the right thing. Will update this if there is anything new to report. Meanwhile, if you have a subscription— make sure you update your card before it expires. I’m not sure if that will avert a price hike or not. Best to use the card with the most distant expiry date as possible!

I have been learning about the Gospel, and my Girlfriend and I have found this app! This is the best bible app ever. Not only do they have KJV bible and lots of others, but they also have little notes that explain the chapter if you don’t understand. Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit. Romans 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for* sin, condemned sin in the flesh: The rest is for you to download the app and read for yourself! We already have all the spiritual blessings we have been asking for our whole lives!!! This is the TRUE gospel, if you believe in Jesus Christ he has already saved you.

Audio -not always work or partially does. When in Devocional -audio is inconsistent available. But overall is a great app and enjoy it as it provides me with my espiritual food. Also have it on my Pad that is not an IOS and all work perfectly.
Bible and Study Notes Layout revived
The new version app has been improved that you can hide bible text in a Study bible, that is, showing study bible notes only in this column view. This effectively revived the Bible and Notes dual column layout in the old version. So I will give 5 star now.
Tecarta study Bible is the best!!
I love the Tecarta study bible. The commentary, footnotes and resources all come together to bring a tremendous amount of study materials to your finger tips. The hyperlinks, search function and navigation aids are lightening fast and make using the Tecarta bible an absolute pleasure. I can’t say enough good things about it! If you want to do a serious study of the Bible, or just do daily devotionals, this is the best bible I’ve ever used! Jim

This Bible app is phenomenal. I started with the original version and just upgraded to this one and am amazed at the amount of expansion giving an in-depth study of the Bible with many resources. Praise be to God.
