A long step backwards.
Life Bible app has made my Bible study process clunky and less streamlined. After using Tecarta for several years, I now have to change settings to remove unwanted and often unhealthy notes from between the Words of Scripture. That never happened before on Tecarta. The interlinear notes were annoying, but what really took this app to the delete bin for me was the much slower general processing time. After having to download the most common international Bible standard (AV), attempting to search it for a reference was way slower than anything that I had ever experienced from Tecarta or any other Bible app. When my data connection was patchy, Life Bible app did not search key words in the downloaded Bible version efficiently at all. It’s very slow! After using Tecarta happily for several years now, this seems to be a long step in the wrong direction. Moving on to Blue Letter Bible app for now and hoping for the best. My test drive on Blue Letter Bible app. was a good experience. The AV came as a standard with the app. and it searched quickly with all data and WiFi off. So far so good.
They ruined it.
I used this app every day, for YEARS. I loved the simplicity of it. But the new version is extremely frustrating. I don't like it at all.
Great Bible Study Experience
This app has really surprised me in being such a powerful tool for on the go bible reading and study. The features are user friendly, yet advanced enough to build out your studies. I recommend this app to anyone who wants to learn the basics or to be encouraged to grow more. Great library of helpful tools as well.
Changed subscription model
I don't normally write bad reviews for apps but after buying two study Bibles in app they changed the app and added ads unless you buy the premium version. It's a rip off. There were no ads before and I already gave them money. Bait and switch! I don't want ads in a Bible app and I'm not paying a subscription. I'm going to be installing.

I love the verse of the day!! Many times it is exactly what I need! I love the reading plans too -Very practical! Love how short and concise they are. Thank you, thank you, thank you for this free bible app 🤗
Bad app, looking for better
When I first used the tekarta Bible app, it was perfect. Now they have changed and have all kinds of ads. So I am going to search for a Bible app that was like takarta originally.
No longer displays properly on MacOS
Something changed - either with the App or MacOS, but the Bible (which was working fine) now displays with oversized HUGE font size. Sometimes starts OK, but clicking another open window or another app flips the font size. It is the same on every translation.
New update forces other versions in you
I have been using snd been blessed by the Tecarta app, I have referred probably 100’s of people to it. But I am just about to withdraw that recommendation from everyone. This change to Life Bible forces other versions on you. I am not a militant KJV only person - but I have used it over 50 years. References in the new app point to some other versions- the old version pointed to KJV verses. I am looking fir something else to use, but simply ask for the ability to have just the Bible without references and suggestions on my screen.
I miss the old version
The older version of the app was so much better. It used to be my favorite app to use and now it’s become my least favorite. I also think it’s super cheesy that I have to look at ads before I can read the Bible. There’s something not right about that. Super disappointing :(
