Great App!

This app is incredible, having used it since 2010, starting with my iPhone 3GS and now with my 4S. I can enter scores and stats faster on this app than I can with a scorecard. As a result, I have not used one since I started using Golfshot, except during match play, when I bring a card along only to keep track of holes won/lost. Perhaps future updates will include this type of scoring capability, as well as other popular games, skins, wolf, Nassau etc etc etc? With earlier versions, power consumption had been something to be mindful of, particularly when keeping score for a foursome. Recently they had an update that VASTLY dropped the amount of battery power the app would use. I now finish a round with 60-70% of my battery left after this update. Following their power saving recommendations and making sure your phone is fully charged is important, but the power saving upgrade was VERY impressive! I upgraded to system 6 and I finished today's round with over 70% of the battery left, so it seems to have successfully carried forward to Apple's new operating system. I also highly recommend the companion app Golf Plan with Paul Azinger, which takes the stats from Golfshot and identifies strengths and weaknesses in your game and gives you an improvement plan. Finally as an aside, it is always fun to walk up to someone in your group who has spent a small fortune on a golf specific GPS device and when they announce the yardage, check it against golf shot and say, "That's what I've got too-by the way, how much did you pay for that again?" It's also great not having to succumb to device proliferation! All in all I'm very happy with this app and glad I found out about it BEFORE buying a golf specific GPS device.

Golfshot is #1

Have used GS for years now and I love it. Works great on my old iPhone, and they keep adding new features to up its value. Our course had been re-rated, so I was able to upload a pic of the new scorecard, and Roy in customer service acknowledged receipt of it, and had the update done in literally 22 minutes! THAT is customer service.

I had an issue with my Golfshot Plus screen that I could not seem to fix on my own … I contacted Customer Service at the company, and received highly professional counsel from Nadja … not only did she help me, but she followed up with me TWICE to make sure that my concern had been resolved … it’s so rare these days to find caring customer service support to the degree that Nadja provided - I have always enjoyed using the Golfshot Plus app, but now I double recommend the app - you can count on Golfshot to not only provide a quality product, but also caring and attentive service to your concerns … FIVE STARS !

Great app and support team

I’ve been using this app for about three or four years and I am totally depended on it. Also, the support group is fantastic. If you play a course that’s not in the app just send them the information and they will have it in ASAP.

Great App

I have had this app for many years and enjoy it as much now as I did then. There is a lot of info stored including putts, club selection, greens in regulation, and on and on. Every round I have ever played is stored for review.

$99 for what??

I just paid $99 for what I thought were a set of features including auto shot tracking. That seems to be behind a subscription pay wall. Also a user can't start a game from the Apple watch?? I am baffled with the high star ratings...
