When I open highlighted articles texts on PC or ipad with web browsers or on pocket app on android device highlighted texts display correctly. But when I open highlighted articles on pocket app from ipad highlights are not going to sync even I select “refresh” button. Please fix it, because I mainly subscribed for ability flawless syncing between devices
I purchased Premium mainly for unlimited highlighting. But the cursor keeps jumping or flipping to before the text I try to capture. Very frustrating!
Let me be clear...I love this app. But I’m busy and if I don’t have the time to read an article in the moment, enough to need to use pocket, I’m definitely also forgetting to read these articles as well. This app needs a reminder function available for each item saved. Then this app will be perfect.
Switching from portrait to landscape (and vice versa) mid-article takes you to a completely different spot from where you left off immediately before switching. Having to go on a wild goose chase to find your spot simply because you switched from a different view is extremely frustrating. It makes it almost impossible to read long articles if you like landscape, which is the only view that simulates actual print.
Using Pocket for years and years, couldn’t imagine living without it
This is one of my favorite apps. Totally a must-have. It’s like a modern version of clipping articles from a magazine or newspaper, plus soooo much more. Very, very useful. I do notice one little, persistent bug. The dark/light background doesn’t match my “system theme” all the time. Sometimes it seems to get stuck, and closing and opening the app a few times sometimes fixes it. Otherwise, flawless app!
Regularly save credentials and can’t get my content from jacobin to load
Using an IFTTT script I can listen to articles from my favorite RSS feeds. I just wish that I could delete articles more easily.
Sign In with Apple doesn't work. False promises should be called out.
No doubt this App is clever, organized well, and is a moderately better version of other “content saving” apps. BUT the subscription is downright expensive and honestly not at all worth the price. A option to buy features upfront, and charge for more new additional features is much more appealing. I totally understand why developers (and Apple encouraged) want reoccurring subscriptions - easy money to charge people (what they think are) small amounts that they don’t notice but when everything is a sub it gets out of control. Unless it’s Netflix (or massive amount of actual real content), it’s not worth a subscription, notable on an App. My advice, if you want to make this last, consider another way of monetizing as reoccurring App subscriptions are going by the wayside as the public is 100% turned off by them. It doesn’t benefit the user at all, only accountants that are the farthest species from the user’s best interests and have no interests in creating a stellar product - except excel revenue charts and models.
