Calls not forwarding to YouMail
The recent update to iOS17 has caused YouMail problems. I have turned off live voicemail, turned off wifi calling, made sure I’m not on wifi, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, tried activating YouMail, and everything else I was instructed to do, but YouMail will not work. I have also reached out to support but have not received a response yet. Very disappointed!!

Calls go straight to vm
Used to be a good app but too heavy handed in monetization now. And a lot of legit callers get sent straight to vm.
It WAS a great app
It had so many options when I first started using them years ago. It was great! They had everything for the free user. From automatically blocking spam callers to transcribed messages. Now I have lost a lot of things I had for years unless I go to the premium account. And the premium is equal to my Amazon yearly fee. I have even missed several calls and voicemails lately since they have dropped the free account to the bare bones. So I have no choice but to go back to my carrier voicemail. I have used this app since 2019 on my iOS and many years before that when I was on android. So I have been a loyal user for a very long time. And my review originally was 5 star I loved them. But I now say skip this app. It’s not worth it now that they have changed everything.
Doesn't seem to work properly.
Sometimes my phone would ring for spam calls, which they are supposed to block, especially since it is an international call you would think it would detect it. Sometimes I would get important phone calls but the phone would not ring. YouMail blocked some my important calls entirely. So I am uninstalling.
Nightmare
Messaged that I’m out of voicemail storage—I didn’t want any of what was stored. Hunted and hunted for a way to get rid of stored voicemails. Not sure if I got rid of them or not. Very difficult to navigate. Messages that are recorded or unclear, misquoted. Just a mess.

It’s OK but I don’t think it’s really that good when it says you need to do something on it when you go to do it you can’t do it because you don’t know how to I don’t understand it’s weird I just don’t like it. Great service
This service is awesome. It blacks out all the spam calls that I receive. Not to mention all the sales solicitors and all the other garbage that’s out there. I love the fact that family and friends can leave messages and I can hear them at any time, but most importantly, I love not being bothered by garbage phone calls and the service is free. How much better can that be?
