Since mid this week, I receive duplicate notifications. Additionally, the application completely freezes for 5-10 seconds each time a message is sent or received.
Laggy, freezing, stuttering even after clearing out all chats. App closes in the middle of conversations. Translations not working on both ends for users. Come on Skype, I bragged so much about you to everyone now I can’t even use you!
Best video quality in video calls but there is some bugs in recent updates that need to be fixed. Overall It is good.
Everything is amazing but there is one problem that took the star away, yesterday night Skype started to act strange, not letting me exit chats, not closing the keyboard, I did check it’s not a phone problem, deleting and reinstalling didn’t help, turning the phone on and off didn’t help, and it’s starting to send me notifications for the same thing twice, it’s really annoying and the only way the keyboard or getting out of a chat will work is by waiting about a minute and it finally going out itself once you kind of do what you do to get out, can this try to get fixed please? If it is fixed by itself I will change the review, thank you for reading, and have the day you deserve
I have really been enjoying the skyping. I haven’t been able to use the video part but the telephone part is great. The quality of the calls is it’s good and you can hear so well. Now I’ve got to get my friend so he’ll go ahead and video “and video each other back-and-forth and that would be the greatest thing of all. Friend of Mr Murphy

Every time I call the country I have subscription to there is a dialing tone that doesn’t go away. It’s so hard to talk. The problem has not been resolved for two weeks!
I’ve been using Skype to communicate with my husband while we’re long distance. It was the only app that could keep up with the amount of video calls, pictures, and videos that we sent. I hate this new update though or whatever was recently done to the app, so much so I’m tempted to try a different app. We used to be able to send any kind of video now it’s limited to only a minute and a half, and even when I adhere to the new video rules, it won’t even send. One of the ways we stay connected when we can’t call is by sending videos and the fact that we can’t do that anymore, at least not without extreme hassle and changing the way we took videos really saddens me. Please change this!! Also used to be able to scroll back through all our conversations now it won’t let us and we have to access the search tool which doesn’t work when you’re just wanting to reread old text messages. Please bring the old Skype back ):
I use Skype everyday to talk to my partner who lives far away. We use the share screen function to watch movies, it works great… on the computer. On the phone however, it is the most user unfriendly experience I’ve ever experienced. The volume for the shared video is ridiculously loud with no slider option to change the volume for the shared content. The sound remains the same no matter what the other member of the call does. Also the video feed of the other person in the call will randomly go out and will ALWAYS go out every time I exit the app to check a text or something. It is infuriating. Please fix these problems I’m begging. It’s insufferable.
