Need to fix bug - can’t see first conversation
Since updating (and being prompted to install last 2 updates) am unable to see most recent chat. Workaround - search for contact and select, then able to see conversation. Deleting and reinstalling last two updates does not resolve issue.
Get rid of the Bixby button
The Bing button does not need to exist where I type messages and stop shoving your ChatGPT chatbot clone in my face.
Great App!
I reside in the USA and use Skype to meet "face to face" with friends in China. Picture and audio are first class excellent!
Problems on mobile devices
No way to block incoming call sounds, only call notifications. And the Skype incoming call sound is annoying. Problem with blocking callers. I get a window announcing a blocked number is calling me. I don’t see the name anymore but I do see an intrusive window. Furthermore, the blocked number rings indefinitely. That is, it doesn’t go over to voice mail. The ringing will go on until it drains the battery completely.
The Bing button is a waste
Please allow us a way to permanently opt out of your plagiarism AI bot. I don’t like Bing. Have never liked Bing and will never use Bing. You force this junk on me at the same time my chats do not appear due to faulty programming (the top most chat on the left is inaccessible unless there’s a notification on it I can tap on) Please get the regular part working well before you cram plagiarizing AI down our throats.
Constant pop ups demanding upgrade
I pay an annual fee for a Skype phone number. I have done the upgrade numerous times, yet still get the pop up! Customer service does not exist.
What Happened??
Skype used to be SO GOOD, and now its horrible. I used to recommend it to everyone who talked with someone out of country, especially because it translates. Its May of 2023 and for the past month or longer it has been a disaster. Either you cant see the other person or EVERY thing you say is REPEATED…which is very ANNOYING. The translation is broke up and you cant understand it. Other people I know have the SAME problems with it. How can an app that was so good for years, get so bad, so quick? Now Im embarrassed that I recommended it to so many people
It used to be good
My friend and I used to use Skype constantly, but with the amount of crashes it has, we stopped using it. I went back to my Skype after a long while and it keeps saying there’s no images in the gallery despite me seeing pictures that were sent between my friend and I. Also, it would be a good feature to have a “go back to the beginning” of the chat or find a specific event of messages instead of needless scrolling.
