Not happy

Your not reliable, some days the App works and some days it doesn’t. The GPS signal is not reliable. I would try everything to get it to work on some days. I’ve re downloaded the App and still some days it works and some days it doesn’t. It’s funny, your App didn’t do this when it was free, now that I paid, I have problems. I don’t use Runkeeper anymore, I’ve switched to STRAVA. I’m not completely happy with STRAVA but there GPS works great. I will try your APP again before my subscription ends to see if you have improved, but as for right now I will not be renewing my subscription. Enjoy the $29.00 for the subscription that doesn’t work

Good but needs strength training

This works well for tracking cardio activities, but when it comes to strength training, a key component of physical health, it falls a little flat. It’s never included in challenges, and doesn’t sync as a workout with Apple health.

Impossible to cancel!

Have been trying to cancel for an hour - app and website are a disaster and customer support might as well not exist.

The best app.

The best app to run.

Very hard to cancel a subscription

The paid features on this app aren’t worth it. I thought I asked not for this to be renewed. To my surprise it was. 😡

Fixed to work on ios 16!

Update to previous review - the app froze after ios update to v 16. FIXED IT by turning off iphone and then turning it back on. I use this app daily and really like it - easy to use, save walk/run data, quick add a photo while on a walk/run. The app is great!

Works 80% of the time

Love this app when it works. No problem I’ve been having is that. It only tracks my walks or Runs 4 out of 5 times. I start the timer and by the time I end my walk or run, which is usually an hour and 40 minutes later, I looked down at my phone and noticed that it shows 0.0 miles, but the timer has been going the whole time. My map has a straight line. I need an app that is going to work and be reliable.

Still unreliable on Apple Watch

I’ve been a Runkeeper user for 7+ years. I like the maps and detailed information about my activities like heart rate, steps per minute, etc. When I got an Apple Watch (series 4) two years ago I was excited about doing runs without having to bring my phone—unfortunately the runkeeper app had several problems with recording and syncing data from my activities. Eventually I canceled my Runkeeper pro subscription because I wasn’t using it due to all the technical issues—and because the native watch OS “workout” app was very reliable. Recently I wanted to improve my running speed and thought it would be helpful to have the extra stats Runkeeper provides. I thought that they certainly would have improved the reliability of their app by now. It worked great on my first run and I was excited to start using it again. On the next two runs it failed to record any information, and on the next run it had trouble syncing all the data. I live in the SF Bay and haven’t had the same problems with the several other gps trackers on Apple Watch. I’d say that the app works 50% of the time, and if I don’t triple check it after starting an activity EVERY TIME there’s a good chance I’ll come back with no record—even if I have my phone with me. Interestingly the “workout” app will track my activities in the background so it’s not a total loss. I wish the product managers, developers and engineers would create some KPI to track the percentage of successfully tracked activities and then get that number above 50% It’s really disappointing to come back from a run or bike ride and see that your tracker froze two seconds into the recording.

The app exactly motivates you to push yourself to the next level. However consistency and discipline are the main ingredient to being successful.
