It is crap. You make a security code. If you forget that code even with their "help" it doesn't work. No easy access to create new numerical code. So I am locked out. Nobody will help. It was fine when I COULD GET BACK ON! Jesus, get a phone number and a REAL person to help. WHY IS THAT SO DIFFICULT?
Any time I have tried to lose weight, I have found the best way to do it is to keep a food diary. If you bite it, write it. If you nibble it, scribble it. If you drink it, ink it. Obviously these tips were created before the app. Easy!
Please reconsider auto ads where those of us don’t want to move up to a paid app! Why did you have to screw it up with forced ads. I enjoyed the app but now you’re no different than candy crush :-( I dropped another star in review
This is a great app to use its very helpful
After the Wall Street Journal reported that Lose It was sending personal data to Facebook including sexual activity if the user recorded it(stopped reporting at the time when exposed by WSJ) my wife and I left Lose It for options that reflect our privacy concerns. This and our not receiving annual renewal notices for a subscription that was outside of Apple(we had two subscriptions) lead me to believe Lose it’s ethics aren’t for me.
When I looked at this application, I was excited because of the features. Then, when I saw how much data it’s extracting and the types of personal information it collects, I had to reject it. I don’t see any reason why the services this application attempts to provide must include taking so much data from people. And I don’t want to hear about “user experience” and mechanisms to make the application better. It’s all about money. Just say no.
I really like this app. It’s very easy to use, it has a lot of good food options, and allows a lot of opportunities for people who don’t want to pay. I only have two things I want to address: 1. When i try to private message people, the keyboard and screen don’t align and make it impossible for me to type my message. 2. It’s be nice for the app to have a more modern day look.
Before Lose It, I would eat unhealthy foods but I thought “it’s only a small piece or a little bit of that” but after being able to count calories and see the numbers add up I found it to be things to be very different. With Lose It I’m able to stay on track and monitor myself.
This app used to be focused on self improvement. Now it’s changed to a greedy money grab. Didn’t mind the ad banner at the bottom of the screen, but the full page ads with sound is really pushing it. I hear my fitness pal offers an alternative… probably worth a look.
Have to put up with full page ads and pop ups anytime one wants to record caloric intake! You guys sold out
