I’ve lost 38+ pounds since using the Lose It App! I love everything about this app although I do have a few suggestions I’m hoping the developers will take into consideration. 1. Expand the food data base. 2. For the “Recipes” category, you should be able to create folders so you can organize your recipes. (Ex: A folder for breakfast recipes, lunch, dinner, etc) That would really take creating recipes to the next level, plus bring my rating to a 5 star!

For 4 months, I lost 14 pounds without feeling starving at all. The best part of of the app is the nutrition goal. I never paid attention to my protein and fiber intake. I now adjust my diet to increase my protein intake and I felt that my weight loss is much healthier. My muscle mass increased a lot while fat dropped. I actually started to notice the muscle curve on my arms, shoulders and legs, which I was never able to get when I was even thinner before. This is a great app and I highly recommend it.
This app and others like it are toxic. Focus on being intuitive with your eating and listening to what your body wants and needs. It is incredibly damaging and unnatural to constantly be tracking calories in everything u eat. Do better.
This app works very well, except something that always throws me off is the goal weight date. Why does it move back 1 or 2 days every time I finish logging for the day? This instills immense paranoia that I will never reach my goal weight, since it keeps moving back. Of course, it’s an app compared to actual real life results, but I am concerned about the actual algorithm. Thanks! Other than that, a great tool.
I have used so many calorie counting apps but always come back to this one. It’s not too complicated but also has many functionalities.
I love this app, but I have had it now for many years and noticed water intake was removed unless you pay for a subscription and a daily request to that requires me to tap “no” has become so irritating. I just want to log my calories and move on. It certainly feels like the developers want you to buy premium or scram. I did so well while my Dad and I used this to encourage each other and have a healthy competition but now I may need to search for a new app. Very saddened by corporate greed.
After going through years with different diet apps, this one, for me is the best. While I like tracking, I do like freedom too - I can record my weight daily or weekly. I like the calorie counts they are quite accurate. The upgrades that this company has done have been great, nice and seamless food log. Bonus, adding a recipe isn’t a task in patience.. Thanks for a great app!
I have been a premium user for a while and have used the app for over ten years. I need now need to track iron levels for health reasons and would really like to not switch to a competitor. Please, please, please add vitamin and mineral tracking! I don't want to lose all my data/progress.
Its great. But the exercise calorie burn is significantly lower than Noom and MyFitnessPal. You might wanna take a look.
