This app is awesome. It links in nicely with my Dexacom!
I have found it helpful to meet my goal for the day. Enjoy my walk
I would have given this app 5 stars if it only tracked my numbers. But it constantly nags you to add additional services to your account, and continues to throw ads in your face. I’ve used the app for the past 3 years and I’m getting more and more annoyed with it. I don’t remember exactly what it costs, something like $30 per year. But for that kind of money, you would think that you would receive an ad free version. Today it wanted to sell me a scale.
I purchased premium and now the app is not working it all. Says it cannot communicate with the server. App support does not work.
I really like Glucose Buddy, I paid the $40 for the annual membership and it’s worth it. I don’t know where people are getting $40 a month. I didn’t pay for the coaching or nutrition plan. With that being said, the only thing I don’t like about it is that is doesn’t show in the daily list is the color difference in your blood sugar readings. It lists the number but not if it’s low or high. I can live with that though. Today when my membership payment went through I got an SSL error. It said it wasn’t syncing with the server. I logged out and it said activate your purchase before logging in. I clicked ok, then tried to log in. I got an error that said it can’t establish a secure connection to the server and won’t let me log in now... HELP!!!!
Update: As of today, the app appears to be a bit glitchy - it erased some of my carb count for the day and some of my insulin and glucose entries. I closed the app and the correct readings were restored when I opened it again, however, they disappear again at random times. Please fix this if you can, as it’s hard to go back and re-enter carbs. Still having issues only now the app seems to have deleted a few insulin entries... This is the best app for diabetics! I’m a type 1 since age two and this has really helped me get a better handle on my glucoses. I log my carbs, my glucose readings, and can trace patterns in my habits to better improve my A1C.
I tried to use the app but it’s not possible since it ask me to connect a certain meter which I’m assuming you have to buy in order to use the app. No thank you
Been using the app for many years to track my glucose readings. Don’t use most of tge other features as only use insulin once daily. Like the estimated A1c calculation. It has tracked closely with testing. Good integration with the Health App. I don’t like the subscription model, but like the no ads, and realize the developer must eat. Keep up the support.
I’ve been a user for over 2 years. My favorite little feature is the A1c read out. I don’t see that featured anywhere else. Even Contour with its vast expertise with diabetes products doesn’t reference an A1c. I like that it speaks to Apple Health app too. My only gripe is it displays my daily weight numerous times stacked on top of each other on the Home page. The Azumio “Argus” app has the same issue. I’m a believer in this app.
Great app very helpful at consistently tracking in one place, glucose levels, nutrition and med adherence. Please add section/differentiated goals and nutritional information for gestational diabetes. The goals and recommendations are importantly different due to needing to get enough calories and nutrition for baby.
