Great app, great news source
Le Monde is my go-to app (along with The Guardian) for an alternative to North American news sources. Solid reporting on a diverse set of topics.

Indeed! I peruse 4 European newspapers online every day and Le Monde is at the top, in terms of French, European and world news, with a very balanced perspective. P.S.: It also keeps my “amateur French” alive and kicking!

Has English Language Edition but not supported by the App
While Le Monde is generally aligned to the left editorially, most of the news articles are geared toward being factual as opposed to using the news to spin narratives. This makes it my top International news outlet, and it has an English language edition. The only problem being is the app doesn’t support the English language edition.
Bonne appli, mais j’ai une suggestion
J’aime bien l’appli de Le Monde, mais il y a un truc qui me ne plaît pas complètement. L’appli envoit des notification très souvent, ce qu’est très bien, mais à mon avis il est nécessaire de metre « URGENT » avant des notifications des nouvelles urgentes. A ce moment il est difficile de différencer entre des nouvelles est des suggestion de lecture.

I subscribed to Le Monde as soon as it went online. Its articles are well-researched and much more profound than the Internet-grabbing headlines and shallow articles. This is something we need in these desperate times with Climate Change and War upon us.
30 years I’ve keen reading LeMonde
I read a variety of newspapers and magazines. I still prefer to have a physical paper but the world is now online. Le Monde has done a great job with her app. Beyond that this really is as high-quality authentic investigative reporting as you can find. The articles are meticulously sourced and documented. I only read it in French so I don’t know even if there is a version of it available in English. If they were, it would certainly also be well worth reading
