Most of the right features are there, but the UI could use some work and the actual main features need to be built out more. For example, the route selection doesn’t have any preprogrammed routes. I’m also not able to add pre-built routines to my existing workout plan. I just started a workout plan, but if the plan doesn’t automatically evolve as I exceed my goals or do other activities, I’ll likely look for a new app once my free trial ends.
I regularly use this app because it keeps me motivated to keep going. The feature that gives time and pace helps me stay in track even on tired days
I’ve been using this app for years and loved it. I love that it communicates with whatever fitness watch I have, My Fitness Pal, and Pokémon Go. Lately, though, it just stops running. I turn it on. Make sure it is running. Switch to Pokémon go. Get done killing myself with a run and BAM, the app stopped 20 seconds in, 5 seconds in.... extremely aggravating!
Clunky and slow with terrible UX and UI
This app is just not playing nice with my phone. I turned cell data off because it was exhausting my data plan but now nothing syncs. And it crashes a lot even though I keep it up to date.
It great since I’m on track I’ve been tracking my minutes and miles it works great
Easy to use. Additional features available. Easy way to keep a record of my runs.
Recording my workouts helps with setting goals, meeting them, keeping them and exceeding them. Love this app. Love the under armor challenges promoted. Thanks
This app does what it claims to do and it is part of my exercise routine. I like knowing how far I’ve walked and the other metrics it provides are nice. I also like keeping a diary.
I have been using Map My Run since 2012; my first Baltimore Half Marathon. In all these years, apps come and go and this app have weathered the test of time, new iPhones upgrades, and a pandemic. I give it five starts for consistently performing really well, keeping track of runs, giving you a summary of progress, pacing your runs etc. I will keep using this app as long as it performs as well as it has since I first started using it in 2012. Well done Map My Run!!!
