Have used this app for years. Now it won’t work at all. I’ve updated it. Turned my phone off and on. Nothing. Won’t start tracking. So sad
I have used MapMyRun since the old days of doing everything on the website and just love it. I just started pairing it with myfitnesspal and that’s an added bonus!
Since the latest update the app keeps freezing (sticks on a whit screen) it worked before the last update. Please fix this ASAP 🤞
With this update, I can’t “hold to finish” a workout. Very disappointed.
This app is garbage it deletes runs it changes settings whilst you are out on a run then try syncing 5 runs at once with the apple watch because that’s what it always try’s to do , back to the Nike app at least that works
There is a huge discrepancy between a workout tracked on my watch versus my phone. Example: I did a 3.26 mile hike with about a 500 foot elevation gain in 2 hours 12 minutes that was tracked with my watch. Calories burned equalled 263. The next day I tracked a 2.6 mile hike with my phone with an elevation loss of 600 ft in 1 hour 54 minutes. Calories burned equals 1100. Something is not right.
Anytime an app asks me to rate it I give it one star. I don’t want to rate your app, stop asking me.
I have loved this app forever...recently did my first marathon and it didn’t record after saying it had synced on my Apple Watch. Tried again on the second marathon and did the same thing. Worthless unless i only do short distances.
Often run the same course and receive mile markers at different points as well as different total mileage completed. What causes these discrepancies?
This app used to function well enough. I use it on an iPhone to track walks but would occasionally forget to turn it off when I return and later, after a car ride, it would track all that. Given that apple’s own built in walk counter can tell when u get into a car and stop tracking those, I had somemofest hope that MMR could do something similar. Years later they still haven’t. Yes I can edit my own workouts but if u knew how to track my own workouts accurately, I wouldn’t need an app. I thought maybe the app would track drastic changes in speed and mark it and say something like “did you get into a car at this time?” And I could say yes if I did or no if I happened to start running fast or got on a bike. I’d then have the option to disregard all or “don’t ask me again” button or I manually tap those markers as an option when manually adjusting my workouts. Oh also, this “new” delayed stat feature is a neat idea if I was preparing for a jog or had to put me phone away before I actually start... but it has this “start now” button that literally does not work. The default delay is 5 seconds before start and hitting “start now” seems to also take 5 seconds so why are you trolling us with something that doesn’t work? Admittedly, I haven’t seen if there is a way to turn off this feature for walk workouts but if there isn’t a way to turn this on and off for all or per workout type, I would suggest implementing it. BUT aside from such features never making it into the app, when I did walk and remember to shut it off, it seemed to work... until the last work out. My walks are about 1-2.5 miles daily twice a day (I know how long the routes are now) and ever since the last update, the app draws the path but ludicrously inaccurately records the distance as something like 0.2 miles and says that that distance took me some 12 minutes. Maybe the data is still being accurately stored behind the scenes but there is a glitch in how it’s calculated for display, I don’t know but the app is useless now. :/ Part of me wonders if it’s an iOS bug vs a MMR big but MMR has been pretty poor at making meaningful updates so I’ve assume it’s them. Maybe I’m wrong and part of me hopes I am but I can’t shake the feeling it’s the app.
