I compare the yelp restaurants, to restaurants that I’ve googled or have talked to locals about. The googled/referred places blowout the “rankings” yelp posts about restaurants... just not very accurate. In another words just google and save time.
I used to go here often for their all-you-can eat buffet. I came in tonight and felt very Covid-safe. The tables are far apart. All the staff are masked. I am happy to report that, even though the buffet is gone, the food is still great and very reasonably priced.
My husband and I went to Tanos for first time after bike trail. Initially we were served drinks and refills but after waiting 45 minutes for food we were not happy. Eventually we waved manager over who explained they had a computer glitch that affected a couple orders, ours included. We understood that but the total lack of caring by manger was beyond comprehension. We said this is our first time here, and more or less she said “oh well, computer problem” never apologized, comped our drinks, basically did not care. If she would have shown any concern we would have understood.
I ordered by phone for pick up, usually they do very well done pizzas there , but they changed dramatically. Now they would not do half and half pizza selection, it was so complicated to order just a vegetarian pizza as i could not get half and half pf meat and veg. Guy never even ask for my name after the order. When i arrive i explained i just ordered a 14 inch vegetarian pizza to pick up. His response yelled at To me was “WHAT?” , so maybe it was the covered mask so i took it off and i said i spoke with a gentleman and ordered a veg pizza , his reponse was : There are many men that work here (i only saw Two). When i got the Pizza he just threw The carton . Even another customer said something. Now the veggie pizza ordered is not what you see in menu , it was a chopped salad of tomatoes, carrots, cucumber, etc and other ingredients that turn the salad pizza into the wettest soggy pizza. Trust me their coal fire Well done ,as advertised in the box , was a salad on pizza w/ bread half cooked. Half of the pizza I disgarded. I must say j have eaten pizza there at the restaurant before and they do half and halves very good and hot and their fish soap is excellent , but never again will i order pizza to go from there and from this oven baker who honestly has not manners to be upfront at all. Maybe the masks made him annoyed. We were both annoyed at each other myself for the service and gross pie.
Food is great!! Friendly service
We went there as 6 people, due to covid they could not accommodate a group of 6. We said we understood and would do 3 groups of 2 to ensure social distancing. They then seated us. A few minutes later a manager came and told us we had to leave.... no discussion!!! I understand covid rules, but we were happy to accommodate. We have eaten at this establishment for many years and have been happy. Never again will we eat here, nor will we recommend this place to anyone else. Be aware of management that has no common sense or sense of customer service. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!!!!!!!!! Very disappointed
Stellar service. Only place on the net to buy AKAF oils. Beautiful scents, very reasonable prices. Thank YOU Sohail Nashir
You coo you coo
Yelp app is total trash worthless either you get a preening want to be restaurant critic or somebody just complaining about standard things that every human being would make an error on. The fact that they add businesses in a more secure or not food businesses is a total joke you never get the truth about those businesses they’re always terrible ratings but they’re actually good businesses I want earth yelp survives I have no idea.
Super annoying how I have to download the app via mobile device. I don’t constantly look up reviews for places unless out of town (which is rare especially now with COVID19) and I hate that every time I want to look up a review really quickly it takes me to the app store to down load instead of letting me look on the website.
