iTunes Remote is the best way to control Apple Music, iTunes, or the Apple TV app from anywhere in your home. With iTunes Remote you can: • Access your Apple Music, Apple TV, or iTunes libraries • Browse music by artist, albums, and songs • Browse movies, TV shows, and podcasts • Create and edit playlists • See upcoming songs with Up Next • Search your entire Apple Music, Apple TV, or iTunes libraries • Explore shared Apple Music, Apple TV, or iTunes libraries • Listen with AirPlay • Send music to AirPlay speakers • Group speakers together to play music in multiple rooms at the same time • Set the volume on each speaker independently Requirements: • iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 11.4 or later • Wi-Fi connection to Apple TV, Apple Music, or iTunes on a Mac or PC • macOS 10.15.2 or higher for Apple Music and the Apple TV app • iTunes 12.8 or later is recommended for use with iTunes Remote
no matter what I do, this app refuses to work with my iTunes library on PC 👎
There is one nuisance issue where the receiving computer will not connect my phone but it works 99% of the time and is super handy otherwise. It changes songs, plays and pauses and allows to a fairly good experience for queuing/editing a playlist as well.
My stereo is connected via Bluetooth to my Mac and all my music. I can control the volume and select the playlist and songs I want to hear from the comfort of my very comfortable chair. Works only when my wife is out of the house. Guess the app can’t help with that.
The system is the worst. Just can’t log in
This app has not been updated in two years and cannot control Apple Music. Apple , please bring this app up to date I am currently using a Remote Desktop to control my music. Just ridiculous
Does not work!
Sad
I can’t even get it to play for 10 minutes without skipping! And why isn’t this a built in feature for these $999 phones that can do everything under the moon? 2 stars, but the second star is just a pity star.
Can’t figure out how to use Bluetooth, doesn’t seem to be an option. Also, doesn’t seem like all my albums are synced…?
I played with this remote many years ago. I was pretty impressed with it back then. And I remain impressed, even now, many, many, years later.
