eBay final fee is added on sales tax and shipping
I have a serious problem with eBay charging final value fees not only on the item you sell but they add a final fee to the sales tax and the shipping. I don’t make any money from the sales tax, that gos straight to the USG. I don’t make any money from the shipping. That is for the customer. Why are you taking my money ?? It’s another way they can scam you out of your money. It’s disgusting

2023 Updated Review/Wishlist
(Previous review): In the last year this app has removed several things that were extremely useful to me as a longtime EBAY buyer. Please bring back the banner that showed me that I'm watching an item...as I search I run across items I'm interested in, but I have to click on the item to tell its already on my watchlist....And then I can only tell because there's a place to click 'Unwatch'. And why'd you remove the reminders list where I could check to see if there were any items I needed to leave feedback for? What happened to the filter for number of bids and time left? Please,stop removing things in order to add stuff that just clutters up the experience. UPDATE 2023: there hasn't been any change to any of my previous ideas/complaints. I'm still annoyed that I can filter my purchases by "ready for feedback". It used to be there, now it's not. If feedback is so important, why do you make it difficult? On the same subject, if I buy 25-30 items from one seller, I should be able to leave feedback for them all at the same time if I want. I don't have time to wade through all the stars and questions for every single item. If I have the same feedback for them all there should be a shortcut. Another idea: I'd like to filter my purchases by seller so I can remember what I've ordered in the past, and be sure I want to make another purchase from them. BIG COMPLAINT: I use ebay exclusively from my iPad. However, sellers have indicated that they can't seey items in carts for IOS users. This is a huge problem because it means sellers can't combine shipping by sending an invoice. Why??? And by the way, why isn't combined shipping automatic a seller opts for that?

Everything is available (well, for the most part) on eBay! During the Pandemic, it was basically a life saver. I found that by doing some simple searches, narrowing them down & then filtering the items down- to the best quality products & for the lowest expense. Common sense, right?! I fired Amazon. I bought two weeks from them, and I got ripped off on both purchases. I’m glad you guys check the Wii before you so I hope you do. The first one came with the empty box where all the wires are that connects to the consul and then the other one that I just got the disc of sports was full of movies, so I pray that when I get my way it’s going to be what I want because I’m trusting you guys I’m also ordering a little bit more so please don’t get me wrong I just need to trust a place where I can buy things I’d be able to know I can trust the company. Thank you.
Awful - Hidden Fees & Terrible Service Reps
Been with eBay on and off selling for 16 years. I always give them another chance and every time they prove themselves to be a terribly run company for sellers and businesses …. USE ETSY instead. Save yourself from dealing with eBay at all costs as a seller. When you call they are rude and very in knowledgeable and unprofessional. Zero stars , I’ve had all my family delete the app and their accounts.

Overall I’ve had an 80% enjoyable experience with eBay, for the most part everyone I have boughten items (mostly clothes and shoes) have been legit and have had good communication. I’ve been scammed out of a few hundred dollars because there is no help when it comes to eBay’s customer service. So for the people scamming out there there is little to nothing you can do about it because they can delete their eBay account and start a new one before You can report it. All the while it took me months to get a hold of someone on eBay’s customers service and they basically told me there was nothing they could do. Buy at your own risk!
