I had to use this stupid app for a school thing. I stopped using it and then a few months ago i got an alert for a log in attempt. I changed my password just in case. And then again. And then again. I finally got an alert of a successful login. I wanted to keep this app in case i need it for another class but when i tried to contact them theres no email no phone nothing to let them know there’s something going with their security measures! I deactivated and hopefully my personal information is safe. Also thanks i now have to pay for credit monitoring for the next year or so because you wont acknowledge me when i try to inform this shady company that the security measures they have in place is not working. If you’re reading this and want a recommendation buy a regular plain note book you’ll less likely have your credit card information in that.
I love this app and I use the free version to create notebooks to organize my notes. I think of it as electronic sticky notes.
I used to love Evernote. Then, I was annoyed, but tolerated all the prompts to pay. Recently, I kept getting signed out by Evernote. One time, I somehow ended up signing in on the browser. It says you can only be signed in on two devices which is all I need, but apparently the browser and app count as two devices even if you are on the same device. Since I am also signed in on my phone, I now cannot sign in on the iPad app which is 95% how I use Evernote. I will not be able to unlink the browser for a month. This led me to start migrating to Microsoft notes. It turns out that I love the new app. It is much less glitchy than Evernote and no prompts to pay.
Supposed to be a note-taking app. Come to find out it’s trying to do it all which makes it very confusing. Head scratcher for sure. Just do notes plssss
Work vanished overnight. Six hours worth. No backup on either device or web. It saved and synced before bed. Amazing features otherwise, but lost trust and won’t let it lose my work again. I’m switching services who can ensure data integrity.
Ah me! I have gone back and forth between OneNote and Evernote several times. The import to Evernote does not work but I love Evernote so I hope support gets back to me on this issue.
I have had Evernote premium for several years. It serves my personal needs: recipes, notes, organized lists, etc. It does have some quirks but my biggest disappointment in Evernote is this customer service support. It is terrible! I have emailed them, used “support” and sent them questions that I needed help with. Over the years I have never received one reply. I hesitate to even give them two stars. I hope someday to find another app to use instead.
There is one reason most people prefer Evernote. It's because it's the best note taking and the best documents storage app out there. It has a wonderful team.
Evernote for iPhones is a very powerful app. The real Evernote is on the desktop, but you can get a ton of stuff done with this app by itself. Devs: duplicate notes are a regular occurrence and my iPhone 2020SE runs really hot after just 10 minutes of use.
Evernote never sync causing double triple and quaduple copies of notes. Developers ignore that pull down sync does not work and manual sync button is hidden multiple sub menus deep and when you press it the spinning wheel of death… and walla another note conflict. Do not recommend Evernote until they get their act together. Please add Sync Button that is easily accessible. Please add Sync Button that is easily accessible.
