Most perfect app on ios. But need to work on User Interface. Needs to be sample, colorful, eas to use [free version] ( but of course, current version became better than previous one)
As they continue to mess around with Evernote they break more than they fix. Syncing has become unreliable with duplicate notes and missing content. That is the basic blocking and tackling of a notes app. I have used this forever and I will be moving away. Heck, even Apple Notes is more reliable much less OneNote. The lack of any responses by Evernote here is very telling.
Hands down, the original, the best. Period. Update… bloated, buggy, unreliable
I can understand some of the frustration, agree that the product shouldn’t have been released as early as it was but it’s performance is getting better. And it has features that is competitors do not have. The recent reviews are extraordinarily harsh and makes you wonder where they’re really coming from.
I downloaded the app to try it and see if it fits my needs, soon after I started working on it I got hit by constant “offers” and requests to upgrade, really annoying!
My Evernote account has gotten hacked by someone in Brazil 2 times in the last month and that’s with me changing the password to something ridiculous BOTH times. Evernote needs to up their security software. I will be moving everything important off my Evernote account and deleting it since my information is obviously not safe with Evernote.
On several occasions my account has been hacked. There are devices that I have never used that were using my account.
I’ve had Evernote since forever, and I have tons of stuff stored there. Occasionally I can actually find my things..but the chaos is my fault, because I’ve just dumped stuff in there and never organized it well. But the new home page interface does it all. I am truly impressed. It appears to work well cross-platform so I’m going to have at least one of my devices to open to the Evernote home page. It’s logical, visual, lets you look at and rationalize the information you have collected or uploaded, and lets you make notes on the fly that can help you understand exactly why you put that mysterious document there and if you really had anything in mind when you did it... Reading about the new Evernote, I found that some people make a journal entry or note a day and file it on Evernote, along with any relevant photos, etc. So I’m going to try that next...in the meantime, congratulations to the Evernote folks on taking a good program and making it great! They have really followed up and realized the potential of Evernote.
I rely on EN for work and personal use, and have a collection of approximately 7K notes. Recent updates have slowed the ios app to the point where it is no longer worth using. I used to look forward to capturing and reading notes while on my iPad; now I send myself emails instead, so I can add them into EN once I’m back at a desktop or laptop. It’s disappointing - particularly after being a premium user for years and getting the impression that EN doesn’t find my experience enough of an issue to get the app working well again.
Just when Evernote was finally working the way it ought, after years in the wilderness, now suddenly they have to slap this ridiculous, non-optional home screen on it. I don’t want all this nonsense. I just want a list of my notes like it always used to be. At least let me turn off this pointless home screen! Ugh.
