A great app but limiting it to invite only is awful and no good

This app threw so much into trying to be not like any social media platform and so independent and yet it’s build no different than Instagram except it chooses the filter for you. The fact that you can send snaps to friends and they disappear after you see them is a dead give away of it being like Snapchat. The UI is just different and tbh difficult to use than that of other social media apps. Good marketing campaign, good technique and platform to use ti get people to sign up. Overall I’m impressed with the scam of it. I’m only jealous I didn’t come up with it first.
Intro takes too long

The apps concept is super cool, however, before you can explore the app you have to go though an incredibly long intro to the application. It literally takes a good 15 minutes, during which it tells you to add 8 friends, share the app with 5 friends, and a bunch of other hoops that are required (you can’t move forward until you do). The process is too long and drawn out, so much so I’m just deleting the app altogether.

I don’t understand why I have to invite 5 people to even use the app? That’s just dumb.

i loved the idea of this, but making me add 8 friends, invite more friends, and add the widget to my lock screen before i can use any of the app features was WAY too much effort to put in when i don’t even know if i like the app yet.

Honestly, don’t like this app. The setup process is incredibly complicated. It forced me to add people I don’t know and share the link. Once I finally got into the app, I was overwhelmed. Journals have flashing photos, which is extremely overwhelming to people with sensory issues(such as me) I got stressed and could barely look at the app. I’m not pleased.
