LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS

1
Listen to the bad reviews on here !!! They have terrible customer service. They will just quit replying to you before your problem is resolved and don’t care do not get this app. Whatever you do especially if you have to port a number because then you have to pay to port the number out to a better app that’s not index.

Got tricked into trying this app but it’s pure garbage!

1
I used TextFree and an ad for this app popped up saying it was the best app ever! Needless to say, it’s absolutely not!!!! I should of just looked at the most recent app reviews here and realized that this app is worthless!!!

Do not pay for this garbage

1
App doesn’t work. You don’t know whose calling. All call ssay “incoming sideline call”. You don’t get notified for text messages as well. They’re constantly banning me for “spam” when I’m texting and calling clients. Sideline pro perfect. Index is a dumpster fire. Save you’re $15 a month and use on on an app that actually works.

Appointment Reminders feature!!!

1
Fix the appointment reminders feature ASAP. My entire business runs through outlook and for some reason now I can only send appointment reminders to clients if I use google calendar…. This makes no sense, just a short time ago it didn’t matter what platform you used. Not only that but even to use the feature with google calendar it’s annoying since you can only book appointments through the index app. Very disappointed with the changes and am considering other apps if this doesn’t get fixed soon.

Click to see the most recent reviews, that tells the story.

I never write reviews but this is crazy. Index is horrible, sideline worked flawlessly, now, annoying issues all day….couple they with the fact that they raised prices. My incoming calls have a delay and sometimes won’t even ring, just pop up a missed call. I always end up soliciting a review when trying to send a text because the UI is horrible and all the buttons are jammed together. The caller id doesn’t work in real time, it looks like everybody is calling from the same number. It’s clunky, and buggy…. I’m about to start looking for better options.

Bugs and less functional

2
Have a issue where you don’t see contact names when somebody calls or messages even if they are saved. It’s been 4 weeks since issue is reported and followed up still no solution. App lags in continuous connectivity, at times you might not receive calls and get messages later. Need separate tabs/screen for calls and messages(this is so basic thing).

Where’s sideline?

1
What happened to sideline? And why does it keep telling me to download index? This is horrible! And it keeps logging me out!!!! Is this going to be fixed?

Reminders broken

2
I’ve been a Sideline customer for 3+ years and I have to tell you that the update to Index is less than ideal. What was once an easy to use and relatively fluid user experience, the new system for booking appointments is cumbersome and inefficient, specifically in regards to the reminder system. The ability for Sideline to communicate with my iCloud calendar and propagate customer appointments and phone numbers from the calendar and into Sideline made reminders straightforward and easy. Furthermore, the control and customization of the reminders made this feature vital for customer communication. The new system which forces you to book appointments *only* through Index makes scheduling frustrating and laborious. There is no indication through Index’s calendar which times/slots are available until you attempt to book and then it only tells you if a spot is unavailable after attempting to confirm a booking. To solidify the frustration there is no indication within Index, unlike in Sideline, whether or not a text reminder has been sent to clients. Please improve upon or reinstate the previous reminder functionality.
